Dr. Marian Macsai, MD

Dr. Macsai’s knowledge was astounding. She gave advice on best outcome both short- & long-term. Perfect vision was immediate & gave me decades waking everyday actually seeing w/out glasses. At 65+ I have yet to need “readers.” I think of her often. Forever grateful.

Knows her stuff and cares about her patients. Has a reputation for successfully repairing therapeutic misadventures caused by other doctors.

Unreliable, does not explain things well, does not take claim for her mistakes.

After performing cataract surgery in both my husband's eye, exactly one year later one eye started having black shadows and he contacted the office for an immediate appointment. The told him to wait a few weeks for his regularly scheduled appointment. By the time he got there- Dr. Macsai had to refer him for emergency retinal detachment surgery. He cannot see in that eye anymore. A few months later, his other eye had a retinal detachment- in which he needed surgery. Don't go to Dr. Macsai-unles

I highly recommend Dr Marian Macsai. I'd previously had a terrible experience w Dr Randy Epstein. Dr Macsai, however, turned my situation around. In a few months she accomplished what Dr Epstein couldn't or wouldn't: she immediately eliminated one toxic eye drop and gradually weened me off of a very strong steroidal drop. Thanks to her, my cornea became healthy and she then removed my cataract. Dr Macsai is bright, caring, professional and an exceptional physician!
