Choosing Michigan Costmetic Surgery has been hands down the best experience starting at the scheduling my first appointment! Dr. Awada and her staff has provided A+ attention and care from the moment I walked in the office for my initial appointment. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and provided support and guidance to help me make the right decisions, for me. Often times I feel like I’m being pressured into buying services, but Dr. Awada and staff did not make me feel that in the slightest. They provided the information I needed and answered all questions to help me make the best decisions for myself to achieve my goals. I had two different surgeries done simultaneously (Rhinoplasty included) and I have to tell you I literally felt no pain when I was recovering. Dr. awards and her staff was incrediable in the follow up and after care. I am 100% satisfied and would recommend Dr. Awada to anyone in the Metro Detroit area. Thank you !

I had a minimal TT and breast augmentation lipo to axil and flanks in 2020, I could not have been happier…especially as a mom of 5. As the story goes, we ended up pregnant with our 6th and final baby- happily returning to Dr. Awada to “put me back together” with surgery next month. On a side note but necessary to mention…Maria is the best, she’s on the ball and gets things done. Although consult wait time was much longer this time around- Dr. Awada takes her time with you and that’s important. So, running behind I like to think of it as she is taking her time and I’ll have mine too. Of course nervous for everything but I trust the process and this team.

Dr. Awada did an awesome job "fixing" my face due to the botched work from another procedure. Thanks to her, I look good again. No other Dr, and I had been to a few to try to fix the filler mistakes..was able to correct it. I was afraid I'd have to have a facelift and under eye bleph. Dr Awada fixed it right away with a "liquid facelift" of sorts, and saved i the long run a lot of money. Not sure where the bad reviews came from..the staff was amazing and so was the Dr. Will definitely go back.

Ive read a lot of negative experiences on her about Dr. Awada and everyone is entitle to their opinion and experience so with that being said, I want to share mine! Thanks to Google, I found this amazing woman (Dr.Awada) and I am so happy that i did! From day 1, everyone on her team has been very informative about my procedures and I'm thankful for that! I would recommend her and her team 10000x, they make you feel like family here! Maria the patient coordinator is literally the most caring patient coordinator I have ever spoke to , especially in this journey I've been on in finding the right doctor. Kelly the MA was amazing, she was also there with every step of the way into the surgery and afterwards and has answered every question I have ever had! Mary the anesthesiologist was also very caring and very gentle! I love this great group of women and I will only use Michigan Cosmetic Surgery if I decide to ever need any thing else in the future. (I have not went to my post op yet!)

DR AWADA HURT ME! It's over a year since surgery and I'm still in bad shape medically and cosmetically as she never saw me after my surgery, Everyone was so friendly and nice when I first saw Dr Awada BUT once I was talked into more surgeries than I was even considering, and I paid over $20,000.00, I wasn't as interesting to them anymore. It got even worse after the surgeries, I never got responses to my calls and texts for help. I wound up in hospital for serious infection and bleeding and after that Dr Awada finally saw me - what a waste of my time, I gave her that second chance, and she did nothing to help me, she didn't even remember the surgery she performed on me! SHE DIDN’T CARE ABOUT ME - PROBABLY WONT CARE ABOUT YOU EITHER! IF YOU READ THIS IM IMPLORING YOU TO GET OTHER OPINIONS, FIND A DOCTOR WHO HAS HOSPITAL STAFF PRIVILEGES, YOU COULD WIND UP LIKE ME, LEFT IN A MEGG DG ICAL MESS AND NO HELP FROM AWADA OR HER STAFF! DANGER ZONE FROM START TO FINISH!

Initially, I was very pleased with my breast augmentation until I went for my follow up. Dr. Awada quickly looked at my healing and progress then proceeded to pick apart my face to tell me I could use more procedures/ surgeries like forehead reduction, brow lift, skin tightening, skin laser to remove sun spots, etc...quoted me $7000, handed me the paper of info/quote then quickly left room to see another patient. I was irritated and annoyed by the car salesman tactic for selling more procedures. I see why woman have insecurities and then do procedure after procedure because of doctors like Dr. Awada. I will not go back or recommend her to anyone due to her post op treatment and tactic to shame you into procedures to line her pockets. I'm fine with how I look and I hope other women know their beauty and ignore Dr.Awada's unwanted negative comments. Shame on you, Dr.Awada!

Terrible experience! I previously left a great comment about Dr Mariam but I take it all back! Havnt seen her in over 4 months and told me I wouldn’t have to pay for my laser treatments since she didn’t even want to cut me but had to, then when I went to my FOURTH laser the girl told me that I would have to pay for my treatment and that Dr awada said she wouldn’t comp them anymore, which is such a crappy thing to do to someone who lives an hour away and from the start said I didnt want to go through the surgery if the scar was going to be huge. Very disappointed and will never be back!

Dr. Awada is awesome! She has a wonderful bedside manner and her staff is fantastic! Dr. Awada is great with faces and her office is beautiful!

Was told this was the best place for me to go to get a reduction. I had to get 2 consultations after I received a okay from my insurance.I had a authorization letter from my chiropractor; which I have been going to for over 3 years. I Received my 2nd consultation Dr. Mariam Awada told me she wanted to wait until I finished my first semester of school, that ended in May. Her assistant Debrah informed me that she would give me a date and call me the week after, nobody ever called I had to call them repeatedly to get an answer. 4 days before my scheduled date for surgery they called me to tell me the woman who was in the billing department(coding) quit and i was gonna have to wait till June or July. 2 weeks into June i received no call so I called and I kept getting a "we will call you back" and on the 17th of June they are saying there is nothing open until October. I only have until September to have this surgery. My original date they gave me was May 17th 2019. I am very disappointed

Dr. Awada did my under eyes filler today and wow, what a difference. It was painless, fun, exciting, and best of all I had a board certified plastic surgeon who cares! I cannot stop looking at myself in the mirror. I am absolutely in love and already feel a boost of confidence. I would totally come back for more treatments. You might wait for a while this office is usually really packed. You’ll enjoy the waiting room thought and they offer snacks sometimes sandwiches in the waiting room which is nice especially if you have children. Overall I love her she’s spectacular.

I don’t want to sound cheesy but I love her so much. By the way you can tell she’s a good plastic surgeon because she herself loves amazing. Dr Awada will get you to where you need to be I came in for a consultation for my facelift and lower eyelids. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. Man I’m so pleased with my results I now look like my daughter. Anywhere we go they ask us if we are sisters and it makes me feel good. I must say you will have to wait to see this doctor but it’s worth it and she’ll make it up to you. She added fat grafting the day of surgery and I’m so glad she did because my face lacked volume. I know she will always be a doctor I refer my family members to Since I know they would be in good hands. I was able to have my surgery and recover fast because she gave me an IV vitamin to help with my recovery you’ll notice she’s so into the most advance technology and up to date with all procedures she even offers stem cells. I’m amazed by how smart and knowledgeable

I don’t usually do this but Dr. M changed my life. I didn’t get married until I had my surgery because I didn’t want my fiancé at the time to see my breast and stomach. I cried my first appointment after my surgery when I saw myself. I couldn’t believe my eyes and how skin and shaped my body looked. I’m not gonna lie I did gain weight after my honeymoon but that’s on me and it seems like a lot of people blame the doctor for the way they treat themself after surgery. I would highly recommend coming to Michigan Cosmetic Surgery. She talks to me like a friend and I love my patient coordinator she was so specific and detailed. She answered all my questions. I’m a shy person and this office made me feel amazing without having to feel uncomfortable which I did with other doctors. The staff and the facility is great. I wanted to say thank you for letting me live in my own skin and be comfortable and happy

Don't go anywhere else but here!!!!! Let me start by saying I am a new person and my confidence is back. I haven't felt better in so many years. This woman will make you feel like you're the only patient she has and trust me she has a lot you'll see yourself when you come in for your consult how busy this office is. Patients in and out and soooooo busy but they accommodate you and when you're in the room you feel like you truly is the main focus and not like what the other comments say. I came in for a procedure that was totally not for me and this beautiful woman Dr. Mariam Awada was able to direct me in the right way and guide me towards the proper procedure. She is so loving and treats each patient in abreally special way

I love this office. I must say I feel at home when I come here. The office is very welcoming and elegant. Employees treat you with respect and you don’t feel like you are just a customer. You are able to do any kind of treatment from head to toe here. They offer surgical and nonsurgical procedure. I don’t have time for the downtime so I’ve done coolsculpting myself and love my results. I look my best at 45 and my husband even started coming for treatments (brown spots), and he got his eyes done here and had great amazing results. Dr. Mariam is funny and takes her time with you before and after your procedure. She doesn’t leave the room until all your questions are answered. The medical assistant is very friendly and nice. You will defiantly regret not coming here because you won’t be treated that way anywhere else. Ask for a discount they are always willing to help with the price and bring down the price to a reasonable amount

As a patient I can say I’m so hapy and satisfied with my fillers and facials that I’ve had with Michigan Cosmetic Surgery. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years now and the office is only getting nicer and nicer it’s beautful and elegant. The staff is beyond amazing and helpful. They are willing to help with anything and treat you like family. Dr. Awada remembers anything you tell her personally and always makes time to make sure you’re doing well and makes your visit so customized. I’ve referred friends and family here that have gotten mommy makeovers, liposuction, and fat grafting with great results. Honestly, when you pick your doctor just make sure they are board certified like Dr. Awada and are experienced. My visits have been great and Dr. Awada is so generous with patients.

The entire staff makes you feel welcome and has an answer to any question you might have right away. Dr Awada is by far the most comforting and caring plastic surgeon i know she is all about what I wanted done not what she thought I needed or what she wanted to do. She gave me so much confidence and an amazing new figure

Here is some advice if you are scheduled with any type of surgical procedure with this doctor. I ran into these issues for your to be aware of: -There is no recovery room like you may have experienced with other surgeries - I awakened abruptly while my compression garment was being put on and the person said she told my husband to pull the car around. I said he can't handle this, I am not awake yet. Her reply was we need this bed; he can take you to ER. If this happens to you understand that you would go to ER with no discharge paper work and no ability to describe the procedure including things like blood loss. -you will not know how much blood you have lost so have labs done through your pcp -find another surgeon, physical therapist and massage person to help you when issues with swelling arise.

This place is exceptional! I wonderful staff and treatments! As a healthcare professional myself, I would recommend it to anyone!

Dr. Awada took a lot of time and care in her consultation to explain my options and answer all my questions. She was kind and genuine and made me feel very comfortable. They are all friendly and professional, making you feel safe and comfortable with even the most intimate exams and procedures. My breast aug results are everything I hoped for!
