Dr. Maria Wilson, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Wilson to anyone, for anything. She is rude and will not consider that she just might be wrong about something. Unwilling to listen or discuss the possibility that a mistake was made. Of course, her mistake does not affect her....it affects only me, her patient, and my family. (Correction; FORMER patient) On another note, I too received mail saying I had been enrolled in a plan for patients with COPD. I have NEVER been diagnosed with COPD. I spoke with dr Wilson and staff about this, questioning if it is now part of my patient records. No one had an explanation or seemed to be concerned at all. I continue receive such mailings. Dr. Wilson frequently gave me the impression that she did not really want to be there. She is impatient, and does not present a friendly demeanor. I knew my visit was over because she would stand and exit very abruptly. There is nothing about Maria Wilson that would inspire loyalty or confidence. Nothing.

I came to this physician to treat a back issue and Hashimoto Thyroiditis. Physician did not give full attention to my concerns. I had to suggest that I have my labs drawn because it had been a year since last labs. Too busy taking phone calls during my visit to stay focused on what she was doing. Support staff is as non-caring as she is. She is rude, condescending and dismissive! Do not use this physician!

I see Dr. Wilson at Oak Street Health in Speedway. In. Initially I wasn't impressed but I saw my previous doctor for 30 years so decided to give her a chance. The last visit in December 2018 was better and she showed some personality and bedside manner. However, I'm not happy with OSH because I have called in 2 prescriptions and it has taken two days to get them to the mail order pharmacy. I received a letter that I've been enrolled in the COPD program but I don't have COPD they can't say why.

Dr. Wilson is the worst physician I have ever dealt with. She has NO bedside manner at all and doesn't show ANY empathy for her patients. Her staff is equally incompetent!!
