Simply The Best
Dr. Rasul was my doctor for all 3 of my pregnancies. She is very experienced, smart and she knows what she is doing. I never once questioned her methods and she always made me feel safe and well cared for. She very clearly loves what she does and she is great at it. On a personality note, she cares so much for her patients, she is easy to joke around with and she has a great sense of humor. I wish she could be my doctor for everything, but I'll have to settle for only seeing her once a year at my annual appointment now. If you want the best of the best, go see Dr. Rasul!

Left permanently scarred. After a vaginal hysterectomy, Dr. Rasul acknowledged I had suffered external "abrasions" during the surgery. They were in fact very obvious burns that she denied visit after visit. She repeatedly said she had no idea how this happened. After consulting other doctors, it was confirmed that I had in fact suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns from a cautery tool making contact with the metal speculum. The hot speculum caused significant and painful burns both externally and internally. While I can't say it would have competely resolved the issue, her lack of candor and continual denial and lies exacerbated the injury and resulting trauma. Being honest is an obligation to your patient. Dr. Rasul failed me and competely obliterated her hippocratic oath. She is more concerned about herself than her patients. I will be reminded of that every day by the actual, visible scars she left me with.

Terrible!
She cares very little about her patients. She had ruined my life physically and emotionally. I was hesitant about getting the tdap and flu while pregnant. I took them with my first but the second time I was nervous. She said “oh so you care more about your first than this one”. Very rude. There is so much to tell you how terrible of a person she is. I refuse to call her a doctor.

Dr. Rasul is the most amazing and caring doctor I have ever encountered. Her dedication is unmatched - with impressive knowledge, experience, and bedside manner. She is a true advocate making sure to listen, inform, and fight for her patient's choices. She handled the full pre-natal care and deliveries for both my babies (one in 2017 and one in 2020) and I continue to see her for annual check-ups. I only wish I could have started seeing her sooner (she moved to the Central Coast in 2016/2017)!

Dr. Rasul has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She was the OB on call when I went into labor and she was so great in supporting my decisions. She’s very to the point when it comes to discussing birth control options and even promoted follow ups at 3 weeks postpartum. I am very grateful to have her as my OB.

Dr. Maria Rasul is without a doubt the best OB/GYN I could have ever asked for. You can tell from the moment she walks into the room that she is knowledgeable, experienced, and will do whatever it takes to ensure the health of you and your baby. There is nobody I could have trusted more to be my advocate at such a scary and important time. She listens to your preferences and gives you confident, educated advice that makes you feel heard and very cared for. She is the person you want in your corner, she is the person I trust with my health and the health of my child. A+ Dr. Rasul, five stars, our community is very lucky to have you!

During my 3rd visit in a month I was once again pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and compassionate staff. The first time I arrived a little late feeling frustrated and apologetic. I was greeted by Tiffany at the front desk and she was so delightful and patient and just got me on my way doing paperwork with no hassle at all. The second visit was for my daughter and it was also efficient and delightful. My third visit was to do a more invasive procedure and I was feeling nervous and vulnerable. The assistant Paula (I think) explained everything and offered some comforts to ease the coming discomfort. The best part of this visit was meeting Dr. Rasul who took the time to explain what she was going to do and eased my nervousness. After the procedure she was able to share what she learned and show me video of what she saw. We discussed what options might be available based the lab work. I went in feeling anxious and left feeling heard and comforted knowing I have a team to help.

I've only had one appointment with Dr. Rasul so far regarding my 2nd pregnancy. I LOVED her! Someone else described her as sassy and disarming and that's the perfect description. She made me so comfortable and so excited about this pregnancy. I really felt like she cares. Hoping she is on-call when I'm ready to deliver this baby in December! :)

Dr. Rasul is a busy lady. Too busy to truly investigate my signs and symptoms with a thorough in person interview. She rushed through our appointment and was quick to order a bunch of tests that I am now in major debt for. I had to call her office many times to finally get the results. She had medical assistants call me back and they didn't understand anything, nor could they answer any of my questions. She then gave me a flippant diagnosis that is not diagnosable, except with a procedure.

Dr. Rasul is the best. She is wicked smart and totally disarming. She made me feel comfortable from the second she walked into the room. Our conversations were very authentic and it's obvious she is all about the best care for her patients. I recommend her 100%. The Central Coast is blessed that she chose to come here after working back east at at Georgetown.

I was lucky enough to end up with Dr. Rasul and we connected right off the bat- shes so sassy and funny! She was there to hold my hand through a difficult pregnancy and her take charge confidence and mom-like bedside manner put me at ease. I can't imagine having someone better on my side. she went as far as reworking the schedule so she could be the attending when I delivered, which added up being an emergency c-section, but not before she tried everything to get me a natural birth. LOVE HER!!!

She's so Awesome! Nice, patient, knows what she's doing, took the time to listen and made a plan!! Thank you God!!! Feeling so Blessed!!
