Dr. Maria Novoa Villavicencio, MD

She is a terrible doctor! No compassion no empathy horrible beside manners. She acts as if you are inconveniencing her by coming in!!! She is very rude and this behavior is after more than one visit to her. She has you go get multiple tests and come in to see her and doesn’t even want to talk to you about the results of the tests! Lousy doctor and attitude and does not deserve to have a medical degree!

My daughter when to her to have a IUD inserted by Maria Novoa. She didn’t do a good job. Couple months after the IUD ended up embedded in the myometrium causing alot of pain and discomfort. She can’t even sit for long period of time. When my daughter went back to her office she toll her to leave the IUD inside. No other solutions, What kind of doctor recommend such it thing to a patient. Now my daughter needs surgery keeping the IUD inserted in the myometrium will cause irreversible damage to my daughter uterus. She’s only 24 year old. Please be aware before you decide to make an appointment with this person calling herself a doctor.

I gave her THREE different chances - three different appointments. She is very unfriendly and has no bedside manner. She does not listen to any concerns or questions. She seems unfamiliar in plus size pregnancy. Her care is purely based on statistics vs any health history. She embarrassed me during every appointment with how she obviously didn’t want to touch me during examination and was extremely and unnecessarily rough when she did have to touch me. She never once felt my belly or measured me. Due to high BMI, she asked me over and over about preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, which I have no history of. She would constantly ask me the same questions which were answered in my chart. She couldn’t find the baby’s heartbeat during any single appointment we had, and had to use an ultrasound machine. (Couldn’t find the heartbeat then either.) This is my third child. I know what to expect for prenatal care and routines. This is not it!
