Dr. Maria Navera Narvasa, ND

Dr, Maria Narvasa is my mental care provider. She is compassionate understanding and very warm. She explains everything to me and listens carefully. She makes me feel very comfortable as I know I can talk to her about anything. She is not judgmental and has always been fair and equitable with me. I appreciate having her as my doctor. There should be more Mental Health providers with her qualities at the VA Hospital. Bruce M. Dean

The first visit was 4.5/5 for the PA that attended to me. When I met Dr. Narvasa, she was pleasant but I felt she was in a rush. 1. I was told by Yesenia that she was going to get the referrals and give me a call when they were ready. It's been almost a month and nobody has called me. I left a vm message last week and nobody returned my call and it's been over 48 hrs. 2. I followed up again today 7/29 (a live person!) and spoke with Brenda who wasn't pleasant to talk to. I was on hold for almost 10 min. I asked for my lab results and follow up on referrals. She said it would take 25 days for the doctor to review and get an assessment of my lab work. This is new to me. She said she will ask the dr. to follow up on it. I was very frustrated and she sounded more frustrated because i called on why it was taking so long. she was rude, rude, rude! and didnt even apologize. Bren said it wasn't necessary for them to call, but I was told by Yesenia that she was going to call me when ready.
