Dr is belittling of concerns. Her refusal to listen got my kid stuck on UNNECESSARY heavy medication, monthly bloodwork draws (bc med is risky), side effects from med, and about $1000 in out of pocket medical expenses bc she would not request labs to check kids hormones as requested. Guess what meds were Inadequate. Next Real Dr listened and requested Proper labs. Surprise my kid does have Hormones way out of range: symptoms of particular hormone disorder. Maria would not listen to my concerns and preferred Hawking my kids health to Unnecessary Pharmaceuticals. Why is she in healthcare? She clearly does not understand Patient Bill of Rights

Rating this office a zero star. Go anywhere but here! They gave my son his vaccine at his 3 month check up.. took my insurance card information. Everything was all good in person, a week later I got a letter in the mail stating that they never received my insurance information. So then I emailed them a copy. And STILL to this day years later they are sending me bills in the mail!! I went there in person to get his medical history with them for my sons school, and now they’re saying he’s no longer a parent and wont print off his records for my sons school. Sophia the receptionist is telling me to go through the state to get my sons records. Like really.. no one can there can just print one piece of paper.. Wow! Be careful folks! I’ve let many of my friends know to stay away from here. This review is for the 8990 R G Skinner Pkwy location.

Bed side manners
Bed side manners could use some work … Very condescending how she’s talks to you … Also Won’t give details but let’s just say I’m very familiar with health care and asked for a simple request she said she couldn’t do but I know could be done it was just a matter of not being lazy and after I explain why it could and how she pushed it off on someone else in office to do and facial expressions say a lot let’s just say…. Also no communication there repeated the same things three times to 3 people asking me the same information that was just keyed in my child’s chart !

Dr Martinez offered outdated advice for newborn care that went against the recommendations from the AAP. Her advice would have been quite harmful towards our intact (not circumcised) child. She would not listen to us. I had to remove her hands from him as she tried to rip his skin apart. She was all around condescending. Her advice towards breastfeeding was also less than stellar in telling me to give my exclusively breastfed six week old a bottle of water and to introduce cereal in a bottle at four months. Solids of any kind are not recommended before six months of age. We were former patients while she was practicing with LRH. She has since left the location.

Dr. Martinez-Ramos was my doctor for all of my childhood and adolescent years when she was based in Miami. She was always incredibly professional, well-spoken, kind, and never condescending when explaining things to my family and I. I wish she could one day be the doctor of my future children!

Dr. Martinez-Ramos is an amazing pediatrician. She is very professional and thorough. Being a first time mom I always have many questions. She always listens and I never feel our visits are rushed. You know you have chosen a wonderful pediatrician when your 2.5 year old gets excited when it’s time to go to the doctor. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Maria Martinez-Ramos has been my daughter’s pediatrician for the last 2 years and at very visit for these last 2 years Dr. Martinez-Ramos has been nothing but kind and loving towards my daughter. My daughter loves when Dr. Martinez looks for kitty cats in her ears and when she plays peek-a-boo while listening to her chest. I love the way she answers all the questions I have. At the end of every visit I go home knowing I picked the best pediatrician for my child. I love Dr. Martinez-Ramos and her staff!!!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder apparently so is opinions. Dr Martinez has been nothing but pleasant and professional. Just because she did not pet your head and tell you that you did a good job as a parent doesn’t mean she is rude. Open your eyes people the Pediatrician is for your child not to stroke your ego.

Rude -that's a nice way to put it. We will be looking for another Dr who does not act as new moms are stupid. Very high and mighty.

She replaced the best dr ever, Cynthia Enlow. So she had big shoes to fill. I’m sorry but this woman is just rude. She treats her staff like they are morons. She was basically arguing with me about my child’s paperwork which she clearly had not read. I wouldn’t recommend her to anybody, imho a newly licensed CNA listens better and has more bedside manner than her.
