Dr. Maria Epstein, MD

I see Dr. Epstein for primary care. I have a history of mental illness and had severe anxiety meeting a new provider for the first time. She was extremely patient and calm, and helped me to feel comfortable. She helped me manage my symptoms, and continues to help me coordinate with my other providers/specialists. My husband also sees her, and she was quick and knowledgable in diagnosing his hand condition. She sent him to a great specialist who treated him in one visit. I highly recommend her.

Dr Epstein was great. She was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She helped to diagnose my high blood pressure and treated it effectively. She has a great bedside manner and would highly recommend!

It has been a while but still valid. Went to see Dr. Epstein for a regular check up/physical. Told her all about my aches and pains as she proceeded to examine me. Among the things I mentioned was pain and discomfort on the left side of my body including intense head and neck pain. "It is just muscle pain, go get a massage," she said. After that, I visited my prior physician (seeking a second opinion) and was diagnosed with 3 cranial aneurysms. Dr. Epstein is a lovely person but might need retooling regarding her medical training.

NO!! The office staff called me 24 hrs prior and said be there at 10 am-I arrived at 09:55 am. I checked in on my phone and got a call within several minutes instructing me to come up to the second floor. I went up to the second floor and was then told I was supposed to be there at 09:30. I told them how I was called and told to come at 10:00. They argued with me, then said I had to reschedule. And they were RUDE about it!!!! I work in the nearby hospital and I will be sure to pass on what my experience was??
