Dr. Chapa has always been accommodating and knowledgeable. We need more physicians like her.

Terrible experience with this doctor who was unprepared and knew nothing about my case. Clearly she had read none of my case file prior to our appointment . She failed to ask all the veteran required questions on the VA form needed to correctly provide a medical opinion. Then made assumptions not based on factual information only to place it in the notes of my records. Obviously someone who cares little about the importance of actually reading a patient’s file history or making an informed medical opinion.

The office never answered their phone. I was voicing my concerns and the Nurse Practitioner Kraus just dismissed it as anxiety when it’s now cardio related. Not a good experience. Unprofessional.

She's amazing, she listens to all your concerns and provides you with the best service! She's been my doctor for the past 8 years and I won't change her for any other doctor.

Have seen Dr. Chapa in multiple occasions has been a phenomenal physician every single visit. I had a terrible incident going to the ER and having an Abnormal cat scan of my lungs. I explained my concerns and anxiety. She was very informative and gave me reassurance that regardless of expert referral opinion she would ensure that I was well taken care of. I went to Dr. Alfredo Conde and was diagnosed with a predisposed to mold with 2 none worrysome calcified lymph nodes in lower lung. Essentially it's nothing to worry about. Dr. Chapa, And her staff are extraordinary, from office reception to the tech that draws blood (they all have a very easy hand). I'm terrified of needles and they have all done an excellent job as making it as painless and quick as possible. Needless to say, absolutely highly recommend Dr. Maria Chapa.

Dr. Chapa is an excellent physician. However, she is VERY inconsistent with making and returning calls. This is very frustrating. Not sure where the breakdown in communication occurs, but once you are back-burner-ed, you are in a black hole.

Dr Chapa is a decent internist Dr but does not have any consideration for a patient's time or comforts. She left my brother waiting at Methodist Hospital for hours because she couldn't finish his discharge papers in a timely matter .

Dr. Chapa is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. I feel very safe in her hands.

About a year ago, I was admitted to the hospital through the ER. Dr. Chapa was my main doctor during my stay. I was well cared for as she is attentive and listened to all my questions, just very caring all the way around. I had been looking for a PCP and after my experience with Dr. Chapa, I was happy to be able to have her as my PCP. This level of care and attentiveness remains consistent through each office visit. It is not this way with most doctors I have had. I trust her and appreciate her knowledge and expertise.

I have no confidence in this doctor or the office staff. I recently called six times to renew a prescription and am still waiting for a response. All I hear is that it will be taken care of "by the end of the day". Which day?

Dr. Chapa was referred to me by my Cardiologist. She is fantastic. She and her staff are friendly and they truely care about you. I have never had an issue and can only say- better make appointments in advance because she has picked up more patients from local Dr who are retiring. She has NEVER rushed our visits.

Best and one of the most passionate and considerate Doctors that I've had the pleasure of dealing with as my MD while staying at MSTH. Very efficient and totally dedicated doctor. Rarity these days!! It would be great if she was on the network of available doctors with Humana.

I have have COPD that became exacerbated by RSV and wound up very sick in the hospital. I was fortunate to have had Dr. Chapa be my doctor while there. She is very attentive, answered all my questions and was a great doctor. She took really good care of me, and I wish she was my regular doctor (who can't be bothered to visit his patient in the hospital). After I got home, I needed to contact her at night, and she got back with me immediately. If I can get approval through my HMO, I'll switch

Not worth the time.... It is so important to find a doctor that you mesh with I was hoping that I will find this in Dr Chapa but she will not return any phone calls she precious through the appointment and makes you wait a long time before the appointment not caring.. this doctor is not worth your time
