Stay away! barely speaks English. I have BCBS and getting an appointment with her was ridiculous. Only to finally get an appointment at 9:00 and she arrived at 11:30. She spent 10 minutes with me and told me the cream for my face would be too expensive. That I should learn to live with the problem. She refused to do a biopsy because she said I needed a prior authorization,and that she was human and needed lunch. Very dirty place, roaches and looks like her tools were dirty and soiled with blood.

This doctor is the worst! Firstly, I'm a 27 -year- old woman, but she treated me like I was a 13 year old girl, including patting my head, not listening to my concerns, & talking over me. I went to her for acne after laser hair removal. She prescribed me pill & a cream. At first, treatment was working but then the cream severely burned my face. At my follow-up, I told her but she said it was due to me not using it correctly. She then perscribed me birth control. I stopped seeing her after.

6/21/16 Husband went to Dr.Cartaya's as she had removed a lesion, after he took off cream(applied by her)SHE CUT IN THE WRONG DIRECTION! While cutting he told her it was extremely painful, she replied impossible.Went back the NEXT MORNING to show her.She didn't have the COURTESY to even LOOK. Informed him he had to pay again for visit, after ALREADY PAYING the day before & IT WAS STILL THERE. EXTREMELY RUDE. WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT A PATIENT. BEYOND DISGUSTED WITH HER. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!
