Great care, communicative
The office is a bit dated but there were several front office staff ready to check in. There are free sample products all around the front and bathroom. The inside exam room was clean. I visited for an routine skin exam. The nurse and Dr. Lederhandler were extremely polite and forthcoming throughout every step of the procedure. I wanted to cosmetically remove a beauty mark and asked for the cost so there were no surprises when payment was due. The shaved off beauty mark spot is healing beautifully. When I saw the biopsy lab results uploaded, I messaged via the patient portal, and I received a personal phone call from Dr. L on the results on the same day and confirmation that there were no further visits needed! I loved the communication and the care she provided.

I recently had Mohs surgery on my nose. I was very pleased with the care Dr. Lederhandler provided. She explained everything she would be doing and answered all of my questions pre, during and post surgery. During the surgery she was attentive to any pain I might be feeling. Dr. Lederhandler was very concerned with making the inevitable scar minimal. While I am not fully healed yet (only 1 week out with bandage off and stitches out), it looks like she did an excellent job. The staff at both the NYC and Rye offices were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Lederhandler.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Lederhandler! She was extremely thorough and professional, while also being super calm and kind. I have a history of basal cells so being in the best dermatological care is extremely important to me. I felt great and safe after our visit and plan to be a lifetime patient! She found one mole that was a bit suspicious and took multiple high resolution photos to monitor it closely and is having me come back in three months. I loved having a plan in place and also documentation of the issue so it can best be followed. I fully trust her and her decisions with my skin. I also had developed milia from my mask wearing and it was really bothering me. Dr. Lederhandler was able to quickly remove the milia and my skin is looking great! The office was a pleasure to work with and easy to make an appointment. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Lederhandler!
