Booked first appointment of day, but she was still late -- said she was making phone calls and didn't seem to think it was a big deal to keep me waiting.

I have been seeing to Dr. Maggie Smith for 16 years. She delivered my children and she is extremely knowledgeable. She is patient, kind and a great listener. I trust her and no matter what questions I may have for her she always has a professional answer.

Terrible. I began seeing Maggie after I went through trauma and was not at a great place with my body. She treated me like a child from the beginning and belittled my feelings the entire time. I was lectured each time I went in and frequently cried on the table from the sheer judgement. The final straw was when I expressed how I was having pain during intercourse and in other scenarios. Her answer? I was a redhead and it was par for the course. I left and found a new doctor that took me seriously. It turns out, had Maggie done a legitimate exam, she too would have found that my pelvic floor was experiencing charlie horses and I needed to go to PT. Do NOT recommend and am sad she is so highly rated.

The practice has some serious communication issues. First, their ‘triage’ phone line ‘calls’ from hundreds of different numbers. Many phones -including mine -see this as spam and will send it directly to voice mail. Instead of fixing this, they just leave messages. When you call back - you can’t get through. I tried to call back at multiple times and different days -all with no luck - a horrid ‘game’ of phone tag. When you are waiting for serious results, it’s pretty awful. I tried to get an update on a test results. Never got to talk to a human. Finally gave up on talking to person and read it myself online (that’s real great). 3 weeks after the test got a voicemail where they left poorly described abnormal test results and said ‘call us’. Like I hadn’t done 20x. To top it off - a week before my appointment they canceled it, and told me to call to reschedule. With a practice that has 1 1/2 -2 month wait list. Seriously? Medical care isn’t just your appointment with your doctor.

I have been with The Kansas City Women's Clinic and Dr. Maggie Smith has been my doctor for 31 years. She is a wonderful and caring and kind doctor. I trust her knowledge and value her advise regarding any health concerns I may have. The Kansas City Women's Clinic office staff have always been very professional and helpful.

The front desk was ready and friendly. I forgot my insurance so they gave me a short form to fill out and it was all very simple. There was no wait time in the reception area and the nurse and doctor did not make me wait, either. I trust Dr Smith and feel very comfortable around her. She listens and provides feedback. The appointment reminders and follow ups are professional.

I have been seeing Maggie for about 30 years and she delivered my daughter. I completely trust her and even though we really only see each other once a year, She feels like my good friend! My insurance stopped covering my visits, but the clinic’s annual checkup cost is reasonable. My mother sees another doctor (actually on her second doc because the first one retired) in the clinic and has the same opinion.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Smith! She is a very personable and approachable doctor. She always asks about family, listens carefully, answers health questions knowledgeably, makes suggestions based on those questions, and never makes me feel rushed or unimportant.

She was friendly, thorough and knowledgeable.

My first time seeing Dr. Smith and she made me feel completely at ease. I got in right at my scheduled time so didn’t have to wait like most other Dr. offices I’ve been to.

Yearly physical visit - Dr. Smith is ALWAYS friendly and personable and asks about things going on in your personal life. Pays attention to details and your concerns and is always professional.

I’d highly recommend Dr. Smith! She is thorough, patient, personable, and extremely kind. She’s been my ob/gyn for over 6 years and she’s made me feel comfortable during each visit. Office staff and nurses are great!

Dr. Maggie is wonderful! She listens when I talk with her and shows that she cares for me and my health. She has excellent bedside manner, takes her time to listen to my concerns, and keeps up with my whole family. She delivered both of my children and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. The office is very clean and comfortable. I never have to wait longer than a few minutes - don’t both getting out your cell phone to keep you busy - you won’t be waiting long. Her nurses also show the same care with me. You are in great hands with Dr. Maggie. She has been my doctor for more than 20 years. Absolutely fantastic doctor and person!
