Twenty five years ago, I met Dr. Merrifield at at cocktail party. I was very impressed and thought to myself, "If I ever need a doctor..." So last year, when I was sure that I had breast cancer, I sought her out and was able to be seen when another patient cancelled. First she pointed me in the right direction to get the treatment I needed. Then she did labs to see where my body was deficient and put me on a variety of supplements to fill the voids. She also put me on a prescription to boost my immune system. Not only did she direct me to outstanding specialists, but she gave me some much needed perspective and the lifestyle changes that I needed to get through chemo, surgery and radiation. Everyone should be so blessed as to have Dr. Merrifield on their team! She is SO knowledgeable, explains things well and treats the whole person, not just symptoms.
