Dr. Ferry is well worth the wait time. I know she’s taking the time needed with other patients and can adjust my schedule accordingly. She is very thorough and to the point. If you want your treatment sugar coated, go elsewhere. Sometimes, you need your eyes opened in order to get your health back on track. That’s what she’s done for me. Given me my life back.Endocrinologists treat many rare diseases and finding one in such a small town who is so knowledgeable is a blessing. To say I’m medically complicated is an absolute understatement and I trust her treatment decisions implicitly. If I have questions or concerns, she works through them with me and finds alternatives or explains concisely why we can’t change a treatment.I highly recommend Dr. Ferry. I’ve had 5 Endos over 17 years and she is by far one of the best.

ZERO STARS! If you are under the Endocrinology care of a doctor dr. Margaret Ferry in Franklin County or Brattleboro Vermont sign a record release and run for your life before you realize how much damage has been done to your life and your organs why do Labs have been overlooked and prevention was lost. I can't believe how much damage this doctor did to me after 16 years of trust I gave her. When she told me not to worry about Labs I trusted her well my adrenals are completely dead I had been in and out of a thyroid storm based on her over prescribing thyroid medication for at least a year and 9 months confirmed by several other providers. When I tactfully brought these things to her attention all she did was hang the phone up on me saying she didn't feel safe being my provider anymore and sent me a record release in the mail and is never talk to me again. This is not what you want from somebody who is maintaining managing and tweaking your Endocrinology system. Negligence!

I was a patient of Dr. Ferry's for many years only due to the fact that there were no other Endos in my area. I waited over an hour EVERY single time I went. I was given the very first appointment of the day several times and she didn't even arrive to the office until 30 minute later and then she had to get herself ready. The front office staff were rude and I witnessed them complain about Dr. Ferry many times. Dr. Ferry is also very condescending in her tone and responses. I put in 60 carbs for a few meals and she told me "you eat like a man". When she found out I was leaving to go to another new Endo in town, she withheld my insulin script until I called to complain. You'll do better elsewhere.

I have to agree that you will find that she always runs late on in office appointments. However it is due to the fact that she listens to you and is very thorough. I disagree with the person who said she doesn’t do lab work. I have been her patient for over 20 years and she orders them regularly for me. She will take the time to explain things to you when you have questions and don’t understand things. She is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and always treats me with respect and a warm pleasing attitude. As someone else said, she is worth the wait. It might be you that needs that extra time on your visit.

Spent a few weeks waiting for the appointment, as it is hard to find endocrinologists in this area. I arrived to my telehealth appointment on time, and after an hour of waiting, I decided to call the office. After being put on hold for 30 more minutes, I finally gave up. I understand that doctors are busy, but so is everyone else. I've waited close to an hour for other doctors on occasion, but I've never waited 90 minutes without even an update as to when I will be seen. I am beyond disappointed.

She did run late, but it was worth the wait. I felt she really listened to me and took into consideration my concerns and ideas about medications. She also did some research on that laptop computer while I was there and shared it with me. Very valuable.

Wait time is ridiculous. The only receptionist/nurse is so rude and unorganized. She talks about patients to other patients and on her phone. Dr Ferry spends the whole visit on her laptop mumbling to herself. She doesn’t do physical exams or proper bloodwork. She prescribed hormone therapy to early. When she abruptly stopped seeing patients in Vt the next dr stopped meds and was upset. She is a hack!

For over a decade I've been seeing Dr. Ferry. Yes, she runs late. I call ahead & If she's 30+ mins., the cheerful staff adjusts my check-in time. She "looks" at her laptop because she's studying your chart, meticulously comparing current tests w/ history. I love how transparent she is about her thinking process & the way she includes my questions in her conclusions, always listening to my input. I came w/ unusual requests that she backed up w/ medical info, treating me as an intelligent equal.

Dr. Ferry is a terrible physician. Wait time is 45 minutes to an hour, even when there are no other patients. For most of the consult she sits looking at her laptop, trying to figure out how it works. She does not do physicals. She does not look at test results. (Dr. Ferry diagnosed me with "wonky" insulin based on a blood sugar test and prescribed Metformin. My glucose tolerance test was normal.) She is condescending, dismissive and ridicules her patients. Not recommended.
