Dr. Margaret Alexander, MD

I have been coming to Oncology for Women for five plus years now. My job took me to Europe and when I am in town, I make an appointment to see Dr. Alexander. She has a great attention to detail and that is what I appreciate about her. She spends time with me and she follows up with me to ensure I am doing well. She is absolute the best Gemologist I have seen. Thank you Dr. Alexander.

i visited dr alexander office because a friend said i should see her. i am so glad i saw her. she is very nice and she explain everything where i could understand. she did not rush me either like other doctors i have seen.

Dr. Alexander is an amazing doctor. I needed a second opinion, and she was able to see me on short notice. She gave me advice on how to handle a reoccurring medical condition. I took her advice and I haven't had any symptoms since then. She is such a warm hearted caring doctor. I am now seeing her.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Alexander. She saved my life. I was being treated by another doctor and I was concerned my treatment. I went to Dr. Alexander to get a second opinion. She did some test on me and found I had early cancer. She was able to remove a mass and prevent the spread of cancer. If I had stuck with my previous doctor, who knows what when it would have been discovered and how much the cancer would have spread. She is a blessing.

Whenever I read reviews online, I would always discount those that say "doctor x really listened", because I thought a good doctor should be assessed on their skill to treat you, rather than on their bedside manner. Well, having been to many doctors who 'listened' to my problem but still avoided treating it because insufficient evidence came up in bloodwork and other tests, I feel differently about the importance (and meaning) of listening. Dr Alexander*really* listened. She told me that I know myself and my body better than test results. She didn't dismiss my online research, and didn't get impatient. We discussed together potential treatment options and she started me on the treatment I've known I needed for ages. Every doctor will ask you what the problem is - but not every doctor will truly listen to your answer. I can't recommend Dr Alexander enough!

I highly recommend visiting Dr. Alexander. The gynecologist has always been my least favorite place to be, it always freaked me out and made me feel so awkward. But Dr. Alexander really is amazing and makes you feel very comfortable. If you are looking for a new gynecologist, do not pass up Dr. Alexander, you would be very lucky to have her.

Dr Alexander is so knowledgeable and caring. She allows ample time for each appointment and generously spends that time with each patient and really listens. I never leave there with unanswered questions. I'm so grateful that she takes the time to really know me. She is a lovely doctor who truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Alexander is the best doctors I have ever had. She is concerned and caring and takes the time to get to know you and your issues, spending as much time as necessary listening to you and understanding everything that is going on in your life. A rare gem.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Alexander. I know something wasn’t right and I asked my regular doctor. She sent me to a gyn doctor, and the gyn doctor said I was fine. Dr. Alexander ran blood test and then did a biopsy on me and found I had precancer. I don’t know what I would have done if I continued to the path, I was on with the other gyn doctor. I am so grateful to her upfront and thoughtful approach to my care. Thank you Dr. Alexander! You are a life saver.

I met Dr. Alexander a few years ago. She is an excellent surgeon with a terrific bedside manner. I have had the best experience. She takes her time to explain the problems and the best possible treatment. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Alexander to everyone.

Dr Alexander is truly and exceptional physician and surgeon. My surgery was flawless, no pain. I had surgery for severe precancerous cells of my cervix. She put me at ease. During my follow up visit, she took the time to explain my results. She also explained that these precancerous cells may return and that I will need close follow up. A gifted doctor. Dr. Alexander is extremely unprofessional. She sent an e mail at 8:30 the night before my surgery to cancel the appointment after already starting the medications to dilate my uterus. I had already been to all the appointments including the pre surgery appointment. I contacted Dr. Alexander the day before the surgery to complain about the unbelievable abdomen discomfort the medication she prescribed to dilate my uterus was causing. She instructed me to take pain meds. Therefore, she was aware that I was coming to the surgery and I was in a lot of unexpected pain due to the pre surgery instructions. I was left with the discomfort of a dilated uterus due to an oversight of a $78 co payment that could have been taken care of on the day of the surgery. To cancel the client's surgery at 8:30pm the night before after already starting the process and having the client left in pain was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and shows no compassion.

I've been a patient of Dr. Alexander's for well over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable in her field. She takes my concerns seriously and is very thorough in explaining test results and treatments. Her warm and caring personality makes it very easy to share any health concerns I may have because I know I will be heard and taken good care of.

I became a patient of Dr. Alexander's several years ago, after a routine pap test indicated a serious issue. Her technical skill, expertise, guidance and encouragement helped me through a very difficult time, and I am forever grateful to her. She is an amazing doctor.

Dr. Alexander is an outstanding physician. Her quick response and expert surgical intervention means that I have a fighting chance. She puts patient care first. She is careful and clear in answering questions, which has helped to reduce my anxiety. The on-line office registration system took some getting used to but now that we are facing a global pandemic, I am glad that I do not have to interact with an office staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Margaret Alexander since 2006. She is an outstanding gynecological oncologist. I have recommended her to four friends and they sing her praises. Her outstanding attributes are as follows; She has many of the people I know are her patients in cancer remission because of my her skills. When you go to her office there is a thorough sign in system which is totally computerized. There is an orderly process as a patient prepares for an examination. When she examines me she takes her time, clearly explains her findings, and always follows up. Her manner is professional and caring, and precise. I have never had to wait for a long time once I arrive in her office. I would not consider any other doctor. I can contact her in an emergency.

Dr. Alexander is an amazing physician and her knowledge of Women's Health and Wellness is second to none. I have been a patient since 2001 and for the last 20 years have been incredibly grateful to be in the care of such a compassionate and skilled surgeon and physician. She is proactive with patient care and communicates openly. She does not run a "factory" practice. She provides personalized attention and takes time and care with each and every patient.
