Run—dismissing and arrogant provider
If I could give negative stars I would. My reg PCP was out so they scheduled me with this provider. I was in the ER the night before and was told to follow up with my PCP the next day. I had severe colitis and bleeding with I had stools. I was still experiencing symptoms and came in for help. I was met with the most uncaring, unsympathetic, lack of empathy, and bedside manner in a physician I have ever encountered. He promptly stated “I didn’t expect to feel better the next day did I?” Upon the physical examination I was in pain and he could tell. Was not apologetic for my discomfort. He asked “What did I want him to do?” I asked him if he could help me with getting an urgent request for a colonoscopy and his response was “It’s not that acute and to give it a few days “. I’m sorry but I am bleeding when I go to the bathroom. I find that concerning. I left with a poo kit. I felt gaslighted, and disgusted that my health was not a priority for him.

Rushed and arrogant
I have never given a negative review on a doctor before but this is necessary. Dr Odehnal was late, hurried and didn't seem to care about the discomfort my husband was in. He spent a total of about 5 minutes with us then referred my husband out. He was rude and condescending...not the least bit friendly. He gave us nothing in the way of even a ballpark diagnosis and seemed irritated that we pushed for something...any ideas on what could be the cause of the issue. He even managed to be condescending and inaccurate in the After Visit notes...He needs to learn how to talk and listen to patients.

Dr. Odehnal may be a great doctor, but we'll never know. His office simply gives people the run around. 80% of the time when you call you get sent to voice mail. The message on the voice mail tells you not to leave multiple messages - the fact that they put that in the message should tell you to run the other way.

Dr Odehnal is a very good listener, compassionate, thorough and great at referring to specialists when needed. If it weren’t for his concern I would likely still be walking around with thyroid cancer. He provided honest opinions about the best options for treating my cancer; I trust him completely. So thankful for the excellent care he’s providing to me. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Odenhal didn't help me at all. He spoke to me for barely 10 minutes, he didn't even ask me to move my injured shoulder, and he didn't even look at my injured shoulder. Yet he felt from our brief Conversation that he could tell me how I feel. It was condescending and arrogant, he basically just said what he wanted to say and referred me to other people. He told me how much pain I was in, not prescribing me anything. I had to call him 3 times In 2 days, and got no response until the 4th call.

Dr. Odehnal attitude was nice and professional. He was methodical in presenting his diagnosis and prognosis. I was looking for a new physician and can state that I like his presentation and attitude. He explained his diagnosis, and his reasons for his diagnosis. He's cool.

I have been seeing Dr.Odehnal for more then 2 years now for routine and sick visits. He has been always very professional with excellent bedside manners. Patient, very good listener, addressing all my concerns and problems. Urgent problems have been properly diagnosed and treated. Dr. Odehnal always explains in details the condition he diagnoses and his proposed treatment plan. One of the best physicians I have ever had. Very sad he left Boulder practice.

I made an appointment with flu like symptoms. His nurse conducted a flu test. He came in the room and for 10 min told me I did not have the flu. After pushing back on him he left the room and came back 1 minute later and said I indeed had the flu. He said the test came back positive. He did not wait for the test to fully run before you drew a conclusion. His attitude was arrogant and condescending as well. Not trustworth

Dr. Odehnal has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever encountered. He is condescending, arrogant, and does not hear what the patient is saying. He was extremely easy to get in with and now I know why. I can imagine he does not have a long list of returning patients.

Dr. Odehnal is an excellent Physician. I would recommend Patients looking for a Good Internist to see him. Colorado is fortunate to Have Dr. Odehnal he was my Physician in Indiana. He explained all and diagnostic skills were right on. He had wonderful recommendations for a Specialty Doctor if there was a problem in a specified Medical need. We had a great patient Doctor relationship as he had with many of his other patients..
