Problem Solved
I went to see Dr. Funiciello with pain down my right leg so intense that I could only walk 2 city blocks and have to sit down. I was contemplating major back surgery when my surgeon suggested seeing Dr. Funiciello to get epidermal injections. After three sessions of injections roughly 4 months apart, I am now pain free and have been for 11 months. I am no longer contemplating back surgery and I am extremely confident that, if the problem returns, Dr. Funiciello will be there to treat it.

Great outcome
Zeroed in on the issue and if not for insurance company complications, would have solved my issue in one visit.

Dr. Funicello is incredible. His expertise and caring are amazing. He clearly explains all aspects of your joint condition and his approaches. He listens to patients and respects their opinions. He is also very honest. He expressed it was time for me to consider a total hip replacement, which he does not do. He understands life style. Many doctors can learn from him.

I never felt secure like the doctors really cared they just went through the motions and Dr. FUNICIELLO immediately seem to care had great bedside manner explained The MRI and what he found and explained everything to me and felt confident that in time he can help me with work from myself also .. he administer shots in my back and explained it’ll also help him get to the source of my problem it’s not just masking it and I feel excited that he’s going to work with me well to not lose any more sleepless nights etc. over this pain that I can’t deal with.. This is one of the best practices I've been to. All offices should strive to model this practice. Appointments are taken on time and always with a smile. Dr. Funiciello is "aces." Consultation, diagnosis and treatment to address issues are done right away - no having to make new appointment(s) for testing, etc. Relief was gained by the end of the first appointment. Pain Rx's are available right there at the office - no separate trip to pharmacy. Check out is quick and again with a smile. Follow up appointments are flexible and with phone reminders as they approach. Follow up appointments are even more efficient - in & out under 30 min (sometimes less). Heck, even their Wi-Fi is super fast at over 100 Mbps!

I had a back issue for over a decade and after chiropractic care and PT was still in chronic pain: I wasnt interested in exploring surgery. Dr. Funiciello listened intently, answered questions, and explained options. Over 3 visits he administered injections to the site. After subsequent prescribed physical therapy, I took a month long trip abroad and walked up to 26k fitbit steps without back pain! I also had a ‘trick’ knee which he helped me with equally. NO SURGERY! I am back dancing!

Dr, Funicello was fabulous! He diagnosed my hip pain quickly and accurately and got me treated the very first visit so my pain levels went from very uncomfortable to almost non-existent. He also explained the nature of my condition and the best courses of treatment moving forward. I am now confident that I can face my pain issues without worry! I am so so glad to find the right doctor and the right course of treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone with joint pain!

As a chiropractor, I am very particular about the choices I make for my own care. Dr. Funiciello was recommended to me by my own chiropractor. My experience has been beyond positive in every possible way. Dr. Funiciello approaches his work with an optimistic mindset. He listens with care and then makes appropriate and useful recommendations. His professional competence and treatment options are admirable and his willingness to go the distance on difficult problems is impressive.

Dr Funiciello really listens to my concerns and offers options so that I can share in the decision making. I like that injections can be done right in the office without having to go to a surgery center. I have recommended him to several people.

Took the time to diagnose my problem and was careful to suggest an MRI so he could apply the pain medication in the exact areas that it could alleviate the pain. The initial x-ray was inconclusive and would have not have been sufficient to administer the treatment.Bob The PA was very careful in giving me a comprehensive examination to assist the doctors analysis.

I have had chronic pain in my hip for over a year. I have tried everything and at the recommendation of my chiropractor, I went to see Dr. Funiciello. I have received three separate injections, 2 for my hip, 1 in my shoulder. I feel 100% better, I am no longer limping, have been able to exercise and my shoulder has improved dramatically as well. Dr. Funiciello explained what he was going to do, explained what should happen and what he hopes will happen.....he under promised and over delivered.
