Dr. Mitre has been my gastroenterologist for at least 10 years now and I wouldn't think of ever going to anyone else. She is very thorough; spends time actually listening to your symptoms and concerns; never rushes you and has actually reached out to me when I've been having rough patches to check up on me. I always feel very safe and calm in her care when any testing is performed. I highly recommend her without reservation!!!

Dr. Mitre is extremely knowledgable, thorough, and kind, and she really listens to her patients' concerns and addresses each of them. Wish there were more doctors like her out there. Can't recommend her enough!

Outstanding. Needed after surgery checkup for hiatal hernia repair and bowel resection. Also needed colonoscopy. All performed excellently. Found a large polyp and also had it removed in hospital visit. Clear communication and great results. I highly recommend her.

Pointless. Seemed nice enougb at first, made me feel hopeful. But that was it. Kept making me come in for follow-up visits for no reason, and made me get the same tests done again and again. Told my husband that I needed to reduce my stress. We’re retired! How much less stress can I have? Finally got sick of spending all the money and getting nowhere. Went to someone else at a different hospital and I was better in a month.

I had a procedure at the McCandless location. Dr. Mitre spent plenty of time with me before and after the procedure. She patiently answered my numerous questions beforehand, and discussed the results afterwards. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a gastroenterologist.

Dr Marcia Mitre took the time out to explain the testing thoroughly as well as any concerns after the test was done. she also answered all of my questions and never did I feel rushed. I saw her at the Mccandless AGH center and her staff was also wonderful.

Dr mitre performed an emergency endoscopy procedure on my 89 year old mother who had an a Esophageal blockage and a serious heart problem at the same time. Her care and concern were paralleled by her skill. Highly recommend. Thank God for her. My mother made it home.
