Dr. Marcia Krause, MD

Dr Krause remains one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Sarcastic dismissive and arrogant. Not at all focussed on patients

My experience with Dr. Krause was very similar to the other reviews. She is very cold, dismissive, and flat out doesn’t CARE about her patients. I WILL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN. I wasn’t surprised to see her poor ratings after my interaction with her. How did I miss that! If I could not leave a star I would.

I would like to preface this by saying that I work in women's health, and work directly with physicians on a daily basis. At this point, I know the difference between a good doctor and a bad doctor, and Dr Krause is not a good doctor. She is very cold and insensitive, she didn't bother to actually listen to my concerns, and every appointment with her was rushed. When I brought up concerns (and medical articles) relating to a procedure that she wanted to perform on me, she neglected to inform me of any risks or listen to my concerns. When I cited published medical articles in respected journals detailing the risks and possible outcomes of the procedure, she essentially gaslighted me and I was honestly just shocked at the incredibly insensitive way she spoke to me. On top of that, the office staff are very disorganize. I showed up to a scheduled procedure to be told it had been canceled without my knowledge or consent. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dr Krause would benefit from reading the latest research on addressing her patients from "A Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to address weight bias and stigma" As a fit 49 year old who participates in vigorous exercise 5-6 times a week, has a BMI of 25, I was told on my first visit "that maybe if I would lose weight my blood pressure would normalize". This was my visit visit with her, as my Gyne had retired, and I was visibly concerned about my BP. Her interview did not include any que
