Dr. Marci Allen, DO

Not enough good things to say about Dr Allen. She has been caring, kind, and compassionate.

I have been getting care from Dr. Allen for several years and she is always very caring with me. She is excellent at explaining medical issues and discussing options for treatment. I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Allen.

One star is too many! Her course of treatments is entirely too aggressive . She doesn’t consider the patient. Only her choice of treatment! A very special person passed away because of her aggressive treatment which should of never been used! The suffering people will go through because of her lack of caring. Makes me wonder what she gets from these pharmaceutical companies! Many other caring physicians that are better in this area ......so please don’t go to her!!!!!!

Do yourself a favor and get another doctor. From the first meeting, I did not care for her lack of compassion and judgemental attitude. It did not get any better. I felt she couldn't be bothered to listen to my concerns, nor even take the time to read my chart. I had to remind her of my surgery that had taken place a few months before that started me on this journey for cancer treatment. Every visit I seemed to leave in frustration. I had three doctors that I loved and trusted. She was not one of them. I did change oncologist and now feel I am in good hands. After requesting my chart and reading it to change doctors, I almost wondered if she was mixing up her patients. Serious concerns on course of action of treatment along with not wanting to get a biopsy. I have a sister who is an out of state hospital administrator and she could not believe the way this doctor handled things or talked to her patient.

I loved Dr. Allen's positive attitude throughout the worst experience of my life. She treated the whole me, not just the cancer. She listened my concerns and set up appointments with a Nutritionist and Psychologist. She checked in throughout my chemo treatments and always had a smile and positive attitude that 'we' were doing this treatment for a cure! Thank God, I am 100% cancer free - I am grateful I had such a supportive Dr. treating me. I just recommended Marci to my friend for treatments

Dr.Allen isn't very friendly person. In my opinion she does not care.

Considerate. Able to explain what might be the worst news ever given. Has the willingness to help and support to her patients and their caregivers. An excellent physician and healer. Recommended for those who have a need for a truly amazing doctor when dealing with the monster that is cancer. Great to have her on my team!

Dr. Allen cares about you as a person and not just about your diagnosis. She is very knowledgeable and she personable. She and her staff always promptly returned my calls and gave critical life-saving advice. I hope I never have cancer again but if I do I would go back to Dr. Allen in a heartbeat.
