Negligent provider
I’ve since heard he has retired and I am sincerely glad. Dr. Winiecki knew of nodules in my father’s lungs for YEARS and never ordered any follow up scans even though he indicated he should have a chest CT every six months. Fast forward two years and I get my father in to see a pulmonologist…those nodules turned into non small cell lung cancer. That could have been caught earlier if winiecki paid attention. Not to mention, he never truly cared about how my father felt or what he needed, leading my father to believe he wasn’t worth the attention of a medical provider because “they never listen.” Truly a terrible provider who didn’t even bother to care for his patients as whole people. Discontinuing care with this provider was the best decision we ever made.

I've seen Dr Winiecki a couple times since my previous Dr left. The visits went well, he is friendly and easy to discuss issues with. Any issues I have had he has immediately scheduled referrals. His staff has always answered my question/requests via the Patient Portal.

Dr Winiecki is obsessed with everyone being on a Paleo diet. Whatever your ailment, that's all he talks about. It is so frustrating. He doesn't listen. I never felt heard. My new doctor has diagnosed severe arthritis on my knee. Dr Winiecki never even sent me for an xray. He just said lose the weight, for years. My thyroid was terrible, my blood pressure was high, his only answer? Do the Paleo diet. I should have gotten a new doctor years ago.

Terrible doctor – May 18, 2021

Bad advice. Believes in unproven new age medicine, rather than real medicine that will help. Have to fight to get better, not worth a persons time or effort as their are better doctor's out there. Lots of talk no action. Find someone else.

I am very pleased that this medical office has DOs, not just MDs. Dr. Winiecki is one of them, and while it is not necessarily a common area of a DO's practice, Dr. Winiecki did give me a chiropractic adjustment once when my back went out. The next day I was 100% cured! He is also presents himself as senstive and caring, but will say what needs to be said for things I need to do to be healthy.
