Staff is unresponsive to emergency
Dr Swerdloff is a good doctor when I got to see him years ago. However recently I experienced a life threatening stroke and his staff did everything possible to keep me from having any contact with the doctor. I am a physician and have grave concerns for my health. Numerous phone calls have gone unanswered. They pass you to the next person I called for an appointment more than a month when I will be back in the country and how I will be in the country for 2 months I got an appointment 4 months out until the end of July when I told them I will no longer be in the country. To blow me off for an emergency I am experiencing is unheard of. And negligent at best. A staff like his is not something I would want in my practice. His Nurse practitioner. Refused to respond to my calls. I would have hoped she at least understood the seriousness of my situation. As an established patient this should never happen.

Finally
Been suffering for months , having tests here and there but finally ended up at dr swerdloff. From the beginning friendly staff very informative and calming as the tests were done . Finally got the answers a few doctors were waiting for . Dr was very friendly and answered all questions and explained things which ended 3 months of a mystery.

Horrible experience with Dr Swerdloff and Marcus Neuroscience Center in general. Would absolutely not recommend. Total outrage at my wife’s treatment is not an understatement.

When the nerve test was concluding and I was asking the doctor a few clarifying questions he said that I would need another appointment for that information. It took three months and close to an hour’s drive for this hospital based visit. How disappointing!

Poor bedside manner. Relies on a resident evaluation away newly diagnosed stroke patient. Avoid Boca regional hospital at all costs. The neurology group does not have on-call doctors. They rely on resident to Provide care. The general public does not realize that the care that’s being provided to you is that of a learning doctor versus a seasoned neurologist.

This doctor should not be seeing patients. I think that HE is the one that needs drugs (because that's what he requested) He did not address any of my concerns, He addressed his opinion without completing all the tests.

This doctor was very rude, condescending, dismissive, and insulting - making lots of inappropriate comments about me, my lifestyle, and my career. I was referred to his Marcus office by my neurologist to investigate my sfpn symptoms and this was supposed to be advanced tertiary care center but hes actually just a regular neurologist. He spent 5 minutes sloppily glancing through my book of 100 records and dictating to his computer before telling me there was nothing he could do. No exam, no labs, no studies, no followup appointment, nothing. Jumped right to meds with no diagnosis. A psychiatric drug was offered because 'thats all we would ever do anyway'. I was told to 'stop doctor shopping' and just take my meds and stop thinking about a cure. That's absurd. I cant handle those meds and I need to cure the actual cause of my pn before it gets worse and becomes irreversible!

I have seen Dr. Swerdloff two times and found him to be friendly, and competent. He saw me on time, ordered appropriate tests and spent ample time with me to explain my condition and answer questions. After reading some of the reviews on this site I was apprehensive about seeing him but I have had nothing but a positive experience.

Met with Dr. Swerdloff yesterday. Found the staff to be polite & friendly, were given typical forms to fill out almost immediately upon arrival and then Dr. came out to waiting room. We talked as he led us to the exam room; spent about 40 minutes reviewing my 3 MRI disks, physical exam. & discussion of my symptoms & family history. Medication was discussed, prescribed, & follow up app. was made upon leaving office.

my visit with Swerdloff left me baffled and disappointed. his attitude toward me was unprofessional. he chattered the whole time and made inappropriate remarks to me with regard to my diagnosis. I believe he could be suffering some sort of personality disorder and maybe he is mentally ill.
