TERRIBLE Staff and Unreliable Doctor
I can't fathom why Dr. Nolan surrounds himself by such MEDIOCRE staff members. I thought things would improve with his new practice, but have only got worse. The office receptionist, Amber, for example, is amongst the most obnoxious people I've had to deal with in doctor's offices. She acts as a cover for dr. Nolan's sloppy behaviors, though. He personally has a history with me of things like sending wrong diagnosis codes to labs, and forgetting to send them requisitions, resulting in both unnecessary charges from them, along with me having to return to the lab for the tests! If I may have felt sorry for his being surrounded by incompetent people in the previous Northwell office, now I see he may deliberately selects them so. I've never felt any empathy from him or his staff over these mistakes. Isn't this part of being a doc. too? I can even forgive some of his quick and inaccurate diagnoses I've received over the years, but will no longer accept such CARELESSNESS from his practice.

Good doctor, WORST support staff
Dr. Nolan is a good doctor and was my family doctor for many years. Things went downhill since he switched networks and moved to the UES location from Midtown 4 years ago, thanks to his new supporting staff. Mistakes on appointment times, repeated failures to deliver prescriptions, phone calls that were never returned, lost personal medical records, just to name a few.... I have no idea why he's continued to use them for the last few years. Sad - they are the ones that ruined Dr. Nolan's reputation and the entire patient experience.

He might have many years of experience and fancy address for offices, but he is not a great doctor... Doesn't return phone calls(11+) regarding test results of a test he made me take... He gives you very little time and is in and out within three minutes...He is not a caring man and needs to go back and learn how to deal with patients.. I hope his doctor does the same to him... Karma comes around.. If they are giving him 4+ rating they must be really lucky.... I think he needs to retire... This is what you call a bad doctor

My experience in short was terrible from the large hematoma caused by his assistant to his failure to send in a prescription. He must have had family and friends write positive reviews. I had to wait 35 minutes before going in to conference room then another 25 minutes before Dr Nolan came in to give attention to his computer. In all I was in the office 2 hours and 45 minutes. In Dr Nolan’s presence about 15 minutes. He did not respond to messages left after 3 attempts to reach him for test resu

What good is a 'highly-rated', 'kind', 'accessible' doctor who (1) makes mistakes (2) is not thorough (3) isn't knowledgeable. Appears as though this doc knows what he is doing - but beware that all is not what it seems here. If you care about your health take the time to understand your test results/condition from own research - learn how to improve your diet, and about preventative measures - so at least you can stay away from docs such as 'Dr' Nolan..

Amazing, dedicated, superb, personable, kind, caring, through and top-shelf, Dr. Nolan exceeds my wildest dreams of what a good doctor should be. As a health care professional myself, I try to give my all. But he's more giving and attentive than I am. I often feel that I don't deserve the remarkable attention and knowledge that he gives me. Sooo smart and a complete memory of me as a patient. He is the best anyone could have. But I hate sharing him.

My PCP recently retired and closed his practice. I had been with him many years, and had great confidence in him. Naturally, I faced the selection of a new PCP with trepidation. I have now have had five visits with Dr. Nolan, have had a complete cardiological work-up (that's my most pronounced area of concern). I can say unequivocally that I have made an excellent choice. Dr. Nolan takes great care communicating and demonstrates complete competence. Very pleased with his care!
