He is a remarkable doctor who has a deep and abiding concern for his patients.

Dr was extremely helpful and very competent. As I read the above comments, I felt sorry for people who blame physicians for their staff. When you work for places like Millenium, MDs have no control. Visit a doctor based on his training and intelligence, not his staff!!!!

Excellent! Dr Laufe gives thorough explanations & is kind. He takes plenty of time with a patient.

I don't feel that I was listened to, and able to discuss the ramifications of going on the 3 drug program, that is highly used in the medical field, for bronchiectasis and MAC disease. I heard him simply order me to go on it, without discussing and hearing my side of the decision making. I also didn't like the idea of having to call the office and leave a message. Very seldom does any human answer the phone or initiate a call back quickly, if you have a serious problem. Doesn't work for me.

Dr Laufe and staff are very professional and helpful. I lost the use of my 13 year old CPAP machine which at 83 years old, I need desperately for a good night's sleep. I was referred to Dr Laufe's office 5 days later and, in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, found the test labs to be closed. Dr Laufe contacted local people he dealt with for CPAP supplies, his assistant tracked down my old sleep study test results from 2007 in Connecticut and by the next day, I had a new "latest and greatest" machine. I slept 11 uninterupted hours the first night and similarly since then. My heartfelt thanks to Dr Laufe and staff for going above and beyond in providing what I needed ASAP.

I agree with another review. His medical assistant is beyond rude. So if you feel like being pushed around, made to feel like you are stupid, and her making medical decisions that are not for her to make whatsoever, walk right in. Otherwise pass on a very good doctor who surprisingly has not gotten rid of her.

Dr. Laufe takes care of body, mind and soul; he is not an assembly line physician like so many. Dr. Laufe's nurse is simply the best. She has gone above and beyond to answer my questions and calm my fears. She has also spent an enormous amount of time obtaining services that add to the quality of my life.Don't know what I would do without her. Thank you!

The problem with this office is lack of communication. No live person to speak with. You have to leave voice mails and it gets to be time-consuming and unproductive. Most professionals have a live person to speak with. Dr. Laufe, not so much. 6 months later I still have not been able to get Dr. Laufe to review tests and blood work that he ordered. Hope there is nothing substantially wrong with me.

I agree. Incidentally, there are no nurses in the office. They have a medical assistant. I encountered the same experience and left a review but, it has not been posted to the site. This assistant is making dangerous medical decisions and is very rude. I was exposed to mycoplasma and became symptomatic. When I finally was able to reach a person, the “nurse” rudely stated “I got all 5 of your messages” and made the determination “there’s nothing we can do for you”. Anyone with copd knows it is critical to promptly seek medical attention at onset of respiratory symptoms.

A great doctor but impeded by an extremely rude nurse who offers medical advice the doctor should be giving. She is bossy, insulting, never conveys messages to the doctor because she is afraid she will be criticized. You can never get to the doctor. She makes an office visit a very bad experience every time. Do not go if you do not wish to be treated like a stupid child by this “nurse.”

Thorough, caring, outgoing and will get to the root of the problem. Very highly recommend!

Dr. Laufe is great. My first visit was basically answering a bunch of questions ending with a sleep study script. I found him to be professional and personable. On my follow up appointment he was in a great mood and we shared a few laughs and I enjoyed the visit even though the news wasn't what I wanted to hear. He's a straight shooter, I like that. Two thumbs way up!

Not worth even 1 star. Used vulgar language when he first entered the room. Never met him before. Dismissed any questions i had, and also said Stiolto did NOT affect my GERD. never will go back.
