Ankle repair
I've had multiple ankle issues for a few years now and was referred to Dr. Claydon by my GP. Dr. Claydon was great! I had a torn tendon, a talar dome lesion (ankle divot, pothole, whatever) and a couple ligaments that needed repair. Surgery was in November, 2024 and other than originally stating I couldn't bear weight for two weeks and then extending non-weight bearing for another two weeks everything has gone swimmingly swell.

Find another doctor
Went to his office and was told to go get xrays and make an appointment the following week. Paid the co-pay for no help, however he had no problem pushing orthotics for my shoes that are not covered by insurance. He did not tell me until after they were put into my shoes that they cost anything. Find another doctor that takes the time to explain things before pushing things on you.

Not impressed
My doctor referred me due to toenail fungus. He came in the room and said can't do anything about toenail fungus. Nothing works. Sorry, Have a nice day. He didn't have a problem charging me for the visit though. I think he should refuse to see people with toenail funguses as this is his view.

My husband's first visit with Dr. Marc Claydon went well. As a retired nurse practitioner, I accompany my husband on his doctor visits. Kudos for Dr. Claydon's jovial personality, methodology, thoroughness, and surgical technique! We received appropriate handouts with verbal instructions regarding home care. That's not all. The office staff were on top of things as well, with billing and follow up appointment taken care of - Kudos to them as well!
