Dr. Manuel Perez, MD

I was a patient of the office and had been waiting on a pre-certification from my insurance only to find out that the doctor's office did not submit the correct paperwork. I decided to leave the practice and signed a release for my records to be transferred. The Urology Group called to make sure that I paid my last copay prior to sending my records. When I thought back, it was a day when I was in the office where there was not one administrative staff working. To ask for the $40 copy is especially rich because the admin did not seem to comprehend that I am out $2700 from the first medical procedure. She then was asking me about an e-visit. I asked - when I spoke with the doctor about the pre-certification by phone? A complete joke of an office. The admin could barely tell me what was billed and what I had previously paid. Whenever you question anything - rude behavior. Find another practice. There has to be a better Urology office in Bluffton.

Mrs. Perez is even more arrogant than Dr. Perez. She is extremely rude and thinks because she is the doctors wife it makes her a doctor. Absolutely an awful person.

Dr. Perez has been my urologist for a decade now.. He’s honest with me, he tells me the truth. And best of all he has never made me suffer through my kidney stones. I trust him and his judgment 100%. I was on vacation a thousand miles away when I had a problem, flew home, called his office and he saw me the next morning. I also like that he’s got a sense of humor.

I was in dire straits with a blocked ureter after an ER visit. Dr. Perez moved me to the head of the OR schedule the next morning for an emergency ablation and stent procedure, and then followed up a week later for lithotripsey and stent removal. On the post-op, he provided me with stone analysis and diet changes. Great straight-forward, practical care. I feel like a new man with a plan!

Dr. Perez does not know how to treat women. He performed a surgical procedure and could not find my stone. He was rude, insulting and arrogant. I went to another Urology practice and did pass the stone Dr Perez said I didn't have. I do not recommend this doctor!

Was referred to Perez by GP Lenss for fistulae- performed unnecessary cystoscope that was extremely painful and unnecessary due to previous CT Scan - his office never followed up with me on my condition - I would stay away from this guy.

Staff told me you are going to love this doctor. I've never met a more arrogant doctor in my life. Plz go see a better doc.

Perez is an outstanding urologist and always explains procedures and conducts them with great precision.

Perez is the best-informed, most proactive urologist I’ve ever encountered. Too often urologists seem to think that problems are psychosomatic. Perez actually listens, asks good questions, diagnoses and treats. Highly recommended

After my primary care Physician recommended Dr. Perez, he saw me very soon, suspected cancer and scheduled surgery within the week. That has been followed up with regular checkups, treatments and good reports.
