Strongly suggest you NOT see this doctor
I was referred to Dr Shah by another NYU eye surgeon because he performs both cataract and glaucoma surgeries at the same time. My first appointment with him was pleasant but I was a bit confused and later believed I had made wrong choices. Meanwhile Dr. Shah ignored requests for meds refills, and ignored messages and emails regarding the surgery. Finally I notified several times that I was rescheduling the surgery, changing the dates. This was ignored. The day of the original surgery, I was called and asked where I was. I said, if Dr Shah was not irresponsible as well as the entire staff they would know I requested rescheduling. The result of this was the entire department froze me out thanks to Shah being an irresponsible megalomaniac. Avoid this creep.
