Four years ago, this doctor tried to put my mother on hospice. My mother is alive today. I took her somewhere else.

Needs More Training!
I saw Dr. Lingamurthy once and that was enough. I had a bilateral mastectomy and no reconstruction. His first words to me were, "Are you part of the flat movement?" That was not only inappropriate but could cost him his medical license. You cannot make derogatory comments like that to a female patient. I was in shock. There was no assistant or nurse in the room while he was giving me a physical exam. He offered an infusion treatment for my osteoporosis. There are many other ways to treat osteoporosis other than Zometa infusions as a first line of treatment. He claimed that Medicare will not pay for DEXA scans, except every two years. That is false. I have one every year and Medicare pays for it and my osteoporosis has improved significantly with all-natural supplements and weight-bearing exercises. I never returned to his office and found another oncologist who treats his patients with kindness and respect.

Dr. Lingamurthy is my Miracle Doctor!
He detected and diagnosed a very rare blood disorder in me and has been treating me for six months with very good results so far. His bed side manner is just so wonderful, and he really takes all the time you need with every single visit. He is on top of everything all the time. I wish all my doctors were like him!

Great doctor
I am a New Jersey resident who received the most devastating news regarding my Dad in Florida. I packed up my things and left as soon as possible to see him at Blake Hospital, Bradenton. When I got there, I was in shock. My Dad looked near death. He lost a considerable amount of weight and was completely lost. I hate to say it, but he looked like one of those abandoned/beaten dogs in a commercial seeking viewer donations. The first doctor I met said it is ok to let him go into hospice care. My Dad couldn't get out of bed. I was distraught to say the least. Then, I met Dr. Lingamurthy. He clearly didn't have the time to speak with me but gave me hope. He told me that if it is prostate cancer, your Dad will succeed. Point blank. That was my first positive news. It was not coming from anyone at Blake (whole other story). In the succeeding days we learned it was prostate cancer. At 87, he is up and about and getting better, Dr. Lingamurthy. Keep up the excellent work.

Dr Manjesh Lingamurthy first misdiagnosed type of cancer. Did not know how to or refused to modify treatment for senior citizen patient. Medicine is an art not an exact science and this doctor could not figure that out. Go some where where the treatment decider is flexible. We did not encounter that. This treatment provider was inflexible.

My Physician referred me to a hemotologist Dr. Lingamurthy - who is approved on my insurance plan. Blood was collected and sent to Genoptix. I had no knowledge of or control over Dr. Lingamurthy sending the blood to a lab that was not covered by my insurance. Now – I am facing a bill for $6,250. I appealed – but the claim was denied. They should have told me this would not be covered, or used a lab that would be covered.

TheDr. was professional my only complaint was the charges for my iron infusion. I have been getting them for years and due to insurance change had to go to new Dr. The charge was 10 times what I had been paying. I had to Quit going, the deductibles were more than the complete charge at my previous Dr.

I liked Dr Lingamurthy personality, good energy about him, we just didn't agree on the treatment plan he wanted me to follow. I am not a traditional medicine person, so I choose to not do chemo, he didn't agree. To me that was ok because I had to have peace with my decision and I could not do chemo when everything came back clear from my reports and tests. It was a year ago I had surgery and I am doing well today.
