Dr. Mandi Conway, MD

This is really too bad, because I really like Dr. Conway. Scheduled my annual eye checkup and upon arrival at the office, I was informed it would be 2 to 3 hours. No explanation as to why. Was the office running behind schedule? Additionally, the receptionist was uncaring and rude. With another Dr appointment that day, I chose to leave the office.Recommendation for Dr. Conway: Establish clear communication with your patients regarding appointment expectation. That is, how long it will take for a typical eye exam. Then, confirm via text and email. That way, patients will know what to expect before they show up for their appointment.

Always at least a 2 hour visit in a freezing cold waiting room. I am sure the Dr. is good but doesn't answer questions in a timely manner after the appointment. This could be due to office staff not taking care of and getting back to me with Drs. answer? Still haven't heard the answer to a question I left with the front desk close to April 8, 2024 appointment. Dr. always in a big rush during the exam and doesn't leave time to ask questions. Maybe there are scheduling problems? She always wears a mask (not sure why at this point?) and I can't understand a word she is saying because her speech is so muffled. I wear hearing aids but they don't help at all to understand her with the mask on. I can't say I am happy with the interaction I've had there so far and debating whether I should try again?

Dr Conway took lots of Pictures of my eyes and then explained them to me. She was very thorough. I am So happy with her and her staff. She diagnosed a problem I was having for several years, referred me to Dr E. Justo for a YAG which is a Laser treatment. Shortly after laser procedure I was able to see very clearly. I am beyond grateful. ( I Was seeing another Retina specialist for about 10 years, he was not even close as professional or caring and had terrible office management and staff so I have a very clear comparison.)

The most amazing dr I’ve ever gone to for a first visit. She was able to communicate and teach as well as having a delightfully charming personality. I know she will stay my eye doctor from now on!

Dr. Conway was extremely thorough and explained everything to me. She was generous with her time and very patient with me. I feel very fortunate that I was able to see her with such a short waiting time too. I think she is wonderful and so gracious! The entire office staff was very kind and professional and the facility is beautiful. I absolutely recommend Dr. Conway if you need a retinal specialist.

Highly recommend this reputable specialist. Dr. Conway is a very intelligent, sophisticated,nice and with impressive credentials. She was a recipient of numerous awards for several years such as "TOP DOC" and a recognized educator in her field.

Wonderful, she is the best, was lucky to have found her!

I don’t usually do reviews but in this case it is necessary. I am a Canadian who had an urgent eye problem that could have led to a torn or detached retina. Dr. Conway treated me with medical expertise, compassion and joy, fullfilling her true calling as an excellent Ophthalmologist. She may be the most dedicated doctor I have ever been treated by. She went above and beyond in a timely manner to look after my issue. Thank you Dr. Conway for the highest level of care.

Dr Mandi Conway is a brilliant physician and a very caring and compassionate clinician. She is focused on finding the root cause of my diagnosis and exudes human kindness She is extremely patient and spends a great deal of time with her patients. She is one in a million!

Dr. Conway is incredible....professional, caring, thorough and honest...tells everything like it is but in a way that is easily understandable. She may saved my life with an early diagnosis of a malignant tumor in my eye.
