Former Patient
I had the most horrible experience with this doctor. I had a follow-up appointment with her just a few days after an unfortunate week long hospital stay due to an episode of severe depression. It was then that she made the most rude uncaring comments to me. She literally threw her hands up and said that she was giving up on me. She had tried only a couple of different medications with me and said she didn't know what else to do. She even asked ME what I thought she should do. All I could do was cry. She made me feel like my condition was hopeless. And she just watched me walk out her door. Needless to say I never saw her again and hope I never do. I was in such a vulnerable state just coming out of the hospital and she just made it worse. So I continued looking for someone that would try to help me. I finally found that person, Dr. Theresa Williamson at Monarch in Lumberton NC. She is the most dedicated caring psychiatrist you will ever meet. I have now been in remission over 2 years
