Overcharged for Copayments! Outdated service
This office as of July 2024 requires a credit card on file for future payments. Fine, expect that if you make an appointment you must confirm your appointment online. This will require you to pay an additional fee even though your credit card is supposed to be on file. I was charged $50 in co-payments which did not match my Explanation of Benefits. I called looking to get refunded. Their phone number is Maryland but it is a call center is in India for billing or appointments! I was told the extra $25 I paid would be put on my ledger and applied for a future co-pay. NOT true! I had another appointment the next week and the same thing happened! I was charged an additional $25 on top of the usual $25 co-pay! Then, I had to get my bank to refund me and then I had to cancel my bank card because the office has it on file. Do NOT give these people a penny! Their online patient portal is buggy and bloated with weight loss drug ads.

IF you care about your health , DONT SEE THEM
I visited them for my nose and cough, and Dr. Strobel was okay, she was nice, but the office was horrible, she prescribed me few medications, one of them need pior authorization, so first my pharmacy had tried to contact them but did not get respond, and when i called them , all they told me was that they will send message to the doctor, and i called back later again, told me that i had to schedule another appointment for that. OMG. those people who picked up the phone, they either laughing on the background or sounded like they was sleeping, and so not professional. I would not recommend anyone to this place. THe guy on the phone also told me there is nothing they can help me beside scheduling another appointment. so i need to go back to them again just to ask if there is another nose spray can prescript that does not require authorization, because first of all, they never reply to my pharmacy's request.

Do Not Recommend Manbir
Manbir is Not trustworthy or capable of handling Any Patients on any level! Awful bedside manner as she enters the exam room and not introduce herself, she DOES NOT wear gloves when so-called examining you. How disgusting. She gave an absolutely insane and ignorant excuse as to why she would not check routine usual Vitamin levels in the blood. Her reason was the Insurance company would not pay for it. This is Completely untrue as that particular Lab work is done annually and, most certainly is covered by the insurance company. No other Genuine Real Physician has ever stated to me something as erroneous as this! Her EKG machine is old, outdated and simply broken. The Triage Nurse had to repeat it 3 times. Only for manbir to come back and say it was abnormal. This was also found untrue and a lie! We do not know her crazy reasons for making such false and incorrect claims. She wants to know if certain ppl carry firearms. Her way of doing things simply Are Not Acceptable.

Horrible care
This was one of the most worst doctors visits ive ever had. She did not do a thorough exam during my visit and I suspect had alot of underlying issues she needs to address. I get the feeling she doesn't want to be at her job, not sure why she's there ... get another job!

Not good at communication. Going for over a year and still don’t know the rules. Only gives me 90-day prescription on an anxiety med I’ve been taking for 20+ years. I’ve been leaving messages for a refill and no one has called me back. Last time I got a message that the message center was full. Not professional.

COVID 19 test here with great insurance was $335 after being told by a referring physician that it would be free. I am in the healthcare industry and they overcoded my outpatient diagnostic test and said they spent 30 min providing medical care that was not provided. It is medical fraud plain and simple if not corrected. I spent hours on this trying to correct the bill. I called my insurance who paid out and said to reach out to their billing department. Called several times and sent emails with no reply. Finally disputed with my credit card company and won. A month later I get a repeat bill with a note saying payment after 94 days due will go to collections. This is a warning to you if you are considering going here. You will not find any billing support and their coders will upcode/upcharge your visit even if services are not provided. They have been reported to appropriate agencies for possible medical upcoding and thus , insurance fraud.

I saw Dr. Takhar many years ago. She is wonderful and her diagnosis and treatment was excellent. She also told me what to look out for in the future which was very very true and extremely helpful. I would have placed this review many years ago but I misplaced her card that I just found again thankfully! I am very grateful for her service and dedication!

I've been a patient for about 15 years. Dr. Takhar has helped me become a much healthier person. I've lost, and kept off, over 80 pounds with her help. The Lab Facilities are onsite, so that's very convenient. Other issues I've had, such as back pain, ankle sprains, and other routine sort of things have been dealt with effectively and efficiently.

I schedule one appointment for my annual check up and for some reason they divide it into two visits one to make routine questions and lab work and then you MUST make another appointment for your PAP and of course the billing department charges to you the second visit. I asked to the doctor why she did not complete the exam in one day as other doctors and she told me they had to schedule at lest half and hour more of time. The management wants to charges fee for everything.

Dr. Takhar is great. Howerver, her billing department needs major improvement. I left at least 4 messages in their voicemail regarding about the bill. Up to this point, I have not heard anything from them. They also threaten to send me to collection when i have no idea how i got the balance in the first place. Then comes to lab. I specificaaly asked lab to send my blood work to quest diagnostic lab. There were two persons heard me saying that. And they sent to labcorp Very bad customer service.
