Dr. Mallikarjuna Nandyala, MD

Although wait times are usually long, it's because he is thorough and doesn't rush patients. He doesn't hesitate to prescribe tests and referrals to specialists as needed. He is personable. His reputation among peers is excellent and outstanding. He has been my physician for more than 20 years.

Doctor / Officeis a Real PROBLEM sending Refill Orders to pharmacy. Messes up like 1 out of 3 times. Last time the doctor/offfice did Not fill the Refill Order out correctly to the pharmacy - so the pharmacy could not give me the medicane. I spent 2 days calling every hour to pharmacy and doctor office. Doctor office secretary promised for doctor to fix the refill Order and call me back - Never did that day. The phatmacy Called and Faxed and left Messages multiple times , but still NO reply back from the doctor office to the pharmacy for Days. Do Not put Yourself at RISK going to this Doctor !

Been his patient for 15 years. He was a tad off track; more giving directives than listening to me. It is, after all, my body! Was toying w/ the thought of finding a new PCP- Very glad I didn't- for With my recent visit, he was quite communicative & actually listened and was very kind, whilst maintaining that I continue to take care of myself, with a firm resolve. Prescriptions, checked. The staff has definitely improved; nurse was caring & the office manager/ front desk is pleasant in demeanour with an eagerness to contact my insurance company, without my asking. Very satisfied with my visit to the doc today!

The staff is very irresponsible. You call them 10 times for referral and they still never send it to the pharmacy nor are they reply back to your calls. The doctor is good but the staff is very bad. I called in for my prescription atleast 10 times and still they did not send it to the pharmacy. I finally made up my mind to switch my dr. I do not have time to keep calling them waiting waiting and be told to call back but they never do.....

Dr. Nandyala is a poor communicator who had me getting tests that were not necessary, wasting time and money. He never provided a diagnosis. He always smiles while refusing to answer questions. He would not even acknowledge questions asked and often states that illnesses have to wait until the next appointment. The last time I went, his staff was more interested in ordering their lunch on-line than setting the next appointment. There were too many more problems than I could list here.

I was forced to pay a $300 bill because this doctor incorrectly submitted paperwork to my insurance. I got the insurance company and Quest Diagnostics on the phone with him to try to resolve it and the doctor hung up in our faces twice. Both the insurance company and Quest said they have never seen anything like it. Couldn't possibly be worse.

I've been going to see Dr. Nandyala for over 10 years now. He is an exceptional Doctor, and an even better human being. Five stars all the way easily.
