Fine if you’re healthy
Dr. Abbas is probably a good doctor to see if there’s nothing wrong with you and just want a yearly check up. However, three times I have requested referrals or ER follow ups and I never heard from her.

Wonderful Physician
I was suffering from chronic pain that kept getting brushed off by other doctors, but Dr.Abbas took a focused approach and is treating my pain and I’m feeling so much better. Thank you

given tests with no consent
I was given an HIV and Hepatitis C test with no previous consent. I was to have a cholesterol test and was rushed to sign a consent form for that. I should have slowed down and read the whole form but she said it was just the consent for the lipid test and I signed believing she was telling me the truth.

I have severe asthma and was having respiratory symptoms. No fever or chills or anything else. She refused to see me after I made my appointment. I cannot imagine a doctor who supposedly took an oath to do no harm would turn away a patient, and yet she did. I was able to get into a nearby urgent care clinic. The doctor there was appalled that I was turned away. They gave me a breathing treatment and steroid shot. And also referred me to another PCP as they strongly recommended I not go back to Dr. Abbas after being refused care. I will find a new PCP through their referral.
