Dr. Valente had been my doctor for at least 10 years and I certainly miss her now that she has retired. On my last visit to her April 2019, she immediately sent me to the emergency room at Fawcett Memorial for a pacemaker. She retired 3 weeks later. She probably saved my life after she had an EKG reading done in her office on me. The physician assistant working with her said "Your numbers are fine. How old is your blood pressure machine ?" My pulse was 30 for 5 days !!! Dr. Valente was an excellent doctor.

Very unprofessional. In every visit, she criticized her nursing staff and other specialists within the group. In her mind, no one knows what they are doing. She never listens. Just stay clear. There are enough good doctors in the area, even within the same practice, to have to put up with this idiot.

She will cut you no slack....expects you to do your share for your own health. Exercise strongly recommended. But thorough doctor and keeps herself current.

I went with my mother to her appointment as this is her primary care doctor, I was applauded when I reviewed the labs and noted that the proper tests for yearly check ups on elderly patients and anyone over 60 are not being performed. When I spoke to the doctor about the changes in my mother's behavior, I was told there was nothing she could do unless my mom agreed to see a psychologist, well this is completely incorrect, I am reporting her to the medical board and contacting other doctors.

PLZ choose another Doc. Entire practice lacks any accountability whatsoever. As just 1 example, dose on a med was increased via phone call. When I called back to confirm dose, I was first told it hadn’t changed. Then I was told it indeed HAD been increased. RN said, “when a dose is increased, we only call, we don’t update the record. That’s why WE ask YOU at every appt. what you’re taking.” And this to a patient with memory issues! Doc/staff always rushed & rude. Show no investment in pt care.

Dr Valente ordered some tests for me (Biopsy) I was expecting a call with results.. I called her office a number of times for results but did not get return calls. I had to get the results myself and get a second Doctor to interpret them for me.

Dr. Valente was on her computer the entire time. Ordered meds not meant for me. I picked up meds at CVS and when I found out they were not meant for me neither CVS and Dr. Valente would not own up or accept blame for the error. I spent hard earned money and when I confronted the practice, I was treated rudely and left. Avoid the group.

I have been seeing Dr. Valente over 10 years. I truly enjoy seeing her. She is always caring, listens (so rare these days) and is willing to work with me in resolving medical issues. Her assistant is just as sympathetic. I would not hesitate to recommend her services and will be a quandary the day she chooses to retire
