Dr. Malcolm Purdy, MD

Dr. Purdy's interpretation of BCI test results was at odds with all available information from Biotheranostics and published research. I therefore opted for a second opinion out of state.Prior to the appointment I read all the background research conducted on the test along with information provided by the company. I also talked to a pathologist at Biotheranostics. When I didn't immediately agree to his treatment advice, Dr. Purdy refused to 'follow me' and sent a letter stating that I was being dropped.'The decision to terminate the provider patient relationship was made due to non-adherence to our Appointment Cancellation Policy which you signed and acknowledged at your initial visit.' NOT TRUE. His notes from my two appointments are on MyChart. If true, he has billed my insurance for appointments that didn't take place.The second opinion corroborated what I had learned from published research. They also found Dr Purdy's behavior to be unprofessional and unfair.

Dr. Purdy talked with me and listened thoughtfully. I appreciated that he took the time to explain different possibilities of my diagnosis and educate me about various tests that would determine if I needed to be treated for a disease.

Dr Purdy is really down to earth yet very professional as well. He has been a great help in managing my condition.
