Dr. Malapuram Reddy, MD

Does not listen, tells you are wrong to your face though the lab results show otherwise. She gave no concern for your symptoms and never even pretended to care.

She didn't listen to me and didn't want to. I've been a type 1 for over 35 years and she took a disrespectful tone and told me to do things completely opposite from what the Mayo Clinic Rochester advised. She did not want to work on a plan that would work for me, nor did she treat me with the respect a patient deserves. She just wanted in an-and-out visit with a patient that didn't talk. She didn't want me to do a long term basal rate check and numerous things she suggested I told her didn't work and she didn't listen. Additionally, when I tried to schedule with different doctor, because she is part of the HH group, I was informed that it wasn't possible to see someone else. Avoid this doctor at all costs. Consider Vanderbilt or Birmingham if you are a type 1.

Her office cancelled two appointments with working with me. Dr. Reddy seemed to be at a lost on how to help me since the medication was not working well with my body.

I saw Dr. teddy during pregnancy for management of type one diabetes and she was great. Because of her I did not need to see a Maternal Fetal. She kept my A1C at 6.0 and made sure I was seen every other week. I did not continue with care postpartum because her bedside manner is very dry and I found that she did not work well with Medtronic pumps, kept pushing me to change pump companies. She’s also a big sugar shamer, so that was a deal breaker for me.

She listened and read my paperwork. Her knowledge of my issue was great. Am blessed I got the referral from my NP. Looking forward to better numbers and better health.

She is friendly and really listens. Dr. Reddy is knowledgeable about modern treatments in her area of expertise. I am very fortunate to have her as an endocrinologist.

She was insulting and brushed me off. I’ve never met a worse doctor.

She was extremely rude and put me on beta blockers before even monitoring my heart rate for a week. I was out of her office in 5 minutes and didn’t like that I asked questions.
