Words can’t express my gratitude for Dr. Balakumar. She was able to identify the cause of my pain that I have had for several months that another colon surgeon did not identify. Dr. Balakumar listens and takes her time with the patient and gives a thorough exam. She made me feel as comfortable as possible. She also took the time to explain everything to me after. Also, all of the staff are extremely warm and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Balakumar!

Excellent Dr. wow she made an embarrassing issue, normal and ok. She listens very intently, asks many questions. Staff is amazing and professional. All my nervousness faded away when I spoke with Dr.B. I wish all Dr's were like her.

I had a more than pleasant experience and visit . The initial consultation was very informative, friendly and answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns and then gave me a complete written booklet about FAQs

First of all, the elderly lady at the front desk is very very rude. I was once 15 minutes late for an appointment, and she didn't let me see the doctor, even after I explained and requested that I was stuck in trafficand I had to hire a baby sitter to come. Whereas, other times I had to wait for more than an hour to see the doctor. Made me come to the office 3 times just to show test results, each time $40 copay. Condition worsened tremendously after surgery and no doctor to see after

I would never go back. The staff at the front desk was rude and the medical assistant was also rude. Dr. Balakumar left the room twice for phone calls during my visit and she just wasn't very pleasant or helpful. She also told me it's ok to have a bowl movement every few days.. on what planet? I would never go back.

When a patient said they became ill from colonoscopy prep, other options should be offered. The facility used for colonoscopy procedure is a factory where patients are on an assembly line. She has a poor bedside manner and needs to listen and respond more compassionately to patients. Policy of only giving test results during an office visit and not by phone needs to be changed, especially if results are normal. It seems collecting an office copay is more important than giving timely results.

Got an appointment a month after my initial diagnosis. Way too long for rectal hemorrhaging.Had an appointment at 13:30 but was instructed not to eat or drink anything after 12am the previous night. Total 13,5 hours with no food or drink. From 13:30 that was the surgery they called me in for prep at 14:30. So without and previous knowledge they changed my surgery for 16:30. 16,5 hours no food or drink. And yet again wanted to change the 16:30 to a later time but that was enough. I left.
