Absolutely mistreated my mom. This doctor accused my mother of benzodiazepine seeking in the charts as well as not even bothering explaining my mom’s chest x-ray. The x-ray showed atelectasis, she told my mom it was “no big deal” and that she just needed to “do more deep breathing”. Mom had an echo done, before she left and the doctor said she would come and talk to her if it was abnormal but she never even reported back to my mom. The echo showed abnormal left ventricular relaxation which I’m pretty sure can lead to heart failure. This doctor told my mother she was “breathing the room air fine”, she obviously didn’t care enough to notice my mom was on oxygen at the time. My mom has been sick since February throwing up, she lost 46lbs but the doctor accused her of lying, saying she only lost 7kg. She also said in her chart that it was hypersomatization. My mother has NO reason to lie, she was there for medical help and didn’t receive proper care she needed. This was very upsetting.
