She rolled her eyes at me and stormed out of the office to discuss how I was being ridiculous asking for a scooter or wheelchair with her other staff and laughed at me and tried to deny my diagnosis although two other rheumatologists before gave me the DX and it is very clear in my bloodwork since I have seropositive RA with CCP the highest value the lab reports. Later found out I have POTS which is what is causing me to need to sit down so it makes sense I would need a chair. Also have herniated discs and persistent anemia which causes weakness among other issues. There is never a reason for a doctor to roll eyes or laugh at a patient even IF they ARE being ridiculous. Doctors should remain professional. They have a right to form their own diagnosis but they should look at the information in the patient's chart and not deny a diagnosis that is painfully obvious even to a layperson. She finally admitted I do have RA after I mailed her my own copies of the bloodwork but never apologized

Im so sorry she will be leaving. Dr Mortazavi was one of the many Drs I had seen for my sarcoidosis. She is very kind and understanding and DOES care, Last time I saw here she kept in her office for breathing treatments because my cough was so bad She said she wasnt letting me go home with a cough like that I was there for hours! Way longer than my appointment should have been. Not sure why shes leaving but I wish her only the best

Dr. Mortezavi was the first doctor to take me seriously and work to determine a diagnosis after I spent nearly seven years in pain and sick. She listens to her patients with compassion, and takes every method necessary to determine their diagnosis. She also works to help build a treatment plan that is right for you. I appreciated her willingness to combine Western medicine with alternative treatments (i.e. suggesting certain vitamins, recommending therapists and massage, excersise, etc...). Thanks to her I am pain free and on my way to healthy living.

I have only but the best things to say about her. Not only is she an outstanding doctor, but she is a kind a wonderful person. It’s hard to find doctors today that truely care about their patients. She listens to everything you have to say and does not rush you through the appointment. If you need an allergist, or rheumatologist she is THE BEST. I went in for joint pain, and she sent me for bloodwork, xrays and stared me immediately on medication. She has the best personality!

I highly recommend Dr. Mortezavi. She is a great listener, compassionate , does not rush you, and was determined to help my grandson. She is one of the most caring Doctors I have been to. Her office staff is great and often called when they had a cancellation so my grandson could be seen sooner. I highly recommend Dr. Mortezavi
