Dr. Mahdi Doumet, MD

Dr. M. Doumet is my new PCP. He listened more carefully in 15 minutes than my previous PCP did in 6 years, including providing me helpful information about why a previous medication was not working and quickly getting me one that does. I feel better today after starting my new meds than I have in 6 years. So happy I could cry. Thank you!

People in the doctor office are wonderful

I like Dr. Mahdi Doumet, but since he's only in the office 2 days per week, sometimes that creates an issue.....but I do use MyChart to communicate with him, and he does respond.

I needed a quick new patient appointment and got one the next day.I did have to wait a while for him to come into the room however I didn’t mind as I knew he was taking his time with another patient and can respect that as I would hope he’d do the same with me And he did.He answered all my questions And was very kindYou can tell he likes to run things his way However I didn’t find that rude as I felt he had my best interest in mind.Overall I was satisfied with my interaction and plan on returning to continue care.I read the other reviews before going into my appointment and was a little concerned however I had the opposite experience. Staff interactions were brief yet they were very kind

Did not want to hear what I had to say about current guideines and he was not treating me correctly. Left him infomation on what was correct and said he may look at. Does not like patient questioning him. Finding new physician

This man is out of touch with reality, I went into my drs office and my usual Dr was not in. I had one of the worst experiences, that was meeting Dr. Doumet. I went in asking for a simple referral to an endocrinologist as I was having symptoms of low testosterone. He was confrontational , accusatory , rude , unprofessional and gave zero help. I'm not sure how he is still a practitioner, he should be refrained from talking to people in person and over the phone. It was not a language barrier issue either, as he made it clear that he was being rude, he used cocaine withdrawal as an analogy for my symptoms, which were from having low testosterone, accused me of taking an entire months prescription of my medicine, raised his voice, me then told me there was nonthing he would do. If you need medical help PLEASE don't ever see this man.
