Horrible endocrinologist
Over prescribed Levothyroxine for years even though I constantly reminded her my transsphenoidal hypophysectomy would invalidate part of my thyroid profile results. Horrible.

Professional, yet so caring ...
Dr. Sheikh-Ali has taken care of me for many years. Not only does she monitor my thyroid's ups and downs, she spends time listening to my concerns regarding the rest of my body! She thoroughly explains the analysis of my bloodwork results. I love that she treats me as "a whole person". I am so very grateful for her expertise, and compassion.

New Patient Visit
Dr. Sheikh-Ali was thorough, and genuinely concerned about my overall health. She asked good questions, listened well to the answers, read all of my reports and then did her exams, concluding that I have nothing to be concerned about. Though this seems normative, she was administering care, truly and competently. Further, even though I was there for a nodule on my thyroid, she went on to discuss the proper function of my thyroid with me, to ensure she addressed my total thyroid health. When we thanked her for her care her response was, "Your welcome, I'm so happy!" How refreshing to experience Dr. Sheikh-Ali and her joy, vitality and wisdom!

I’m sure Dr Sheikh Ali is a good doctor, based on what I’ve read. This is why I scheduled an appointment with her. The nearest appointment available was more than a month away, but I was ok with that. I was sent a large pack of documents to fill out, which I painstakingly did. Just before my appointment, I got a call saying that my appointment needed to be rescheduled with a different doctor. WHAT!!? WHY!!!? Apparently she only wants to see established patients or ones that she has enough preliminary information on. I was told if I fax in some records they may be able to do more for me. Why was I made to wait over a month just to be told this and be put back at the end of the line with another doctor? Just unreal. So disappointed.

This amazing doctor actually saved my life. I've had thyroid problems for about 3 years when I was referred to Dr. Sheikh-Ali, not one of the other doctors ever checked the thyroid with ultrasound until I saw her. In July 2018 I was diagnosed with Papillary thyroid cancer and I thank God everyday for her, she has gone above and beyond to make the process of surgery and recovery seamless.

I absolutely love Dr. Sheikh-Ali. She dianoised me with celiac (it was confirmed) which two other doctors had missed for many years. If I had gone to her earlier I would not have had malabsorption which caused osteoporosis. Dr Sheikh-Ali is thorough, listens, doesn't rush and is very sweet. I am so glad I found her...just wish it had been sooner. I drive from Tallahassee to see Dr Sheikh-Ali and she worth every mile.
