He treats you with dignity and respect!
He worked on my left shoulder surgery which was a mess. The 1st Dr missed my diagnosis but he knew in seconds what was wrong with me. I am no longer in pain and he has done a phenomenal job. He has also helped me with my knees as well. Thank you for your kindness and trusting me and my family with such great respect.

Dr. Rao did my hip surgery in 2017. He is so caring, very compassionate. After surgery, he follows up with all appointment to make sure everything is good. I had no problems at all. I walk 4 miles a day. I wish that there was 100 doctors like him

Dr. Rao did both of my hip surgeries and will probably do a knee or two in the future. I liked that he tried different treatments before turning to surgery. I also like that he he is no nonsense and tells you how things are up front showing you x-rays and explaining what different treatments are suitable. I would and have recommended him to multiple people suffering from OA. His NP Michelle is also great!

What’s different about this Dr is that he LISTENS. He truly does care. And Michelle Smith the PA is the same. I’m so glad I found him. He has helped me tremendously The Bonus: Unity Hospital. I’ve been in many hospitals-many surgeries and the staff here is the best. They also take their time w you and do care

Not only is Dr. Rao great behind the mask in surgery but he's even better in person when he's talking to you. Best attribute he has in that realm is HE LISTENS. Additionally he has a great sense of humor, which is very important to me as I'm usually there to get bad news. AND his Nurse practitioners (NP) Michele Smith is EXCELLENT with all the attributes of Dr. Rao's. They make a superb team in the office as well as in the surgical suite. My highest recommendations for these wonderful people!
