Dr.Prasad and his team worked hard to get me in fast for both my first appointment and the surgery before the end of the year and my insurance deductible rollover. He worked hard caring for his patients on Christmas Eve and Christmas while giving his staff time off with their families when most doctors would never have put themselves in a similar situation. He is not only a great surgeon but also a humble and kind soul. He communicated with me regarding what to expect and how the surgery went. My procedure is healing up very well. I couldn't have been in better hands, and I am grateful for his work and the care that he puts into his patients. If I need another surgery in the future, I hope my surgeon will be Dr.Prasad again because I am confident that I'll be in good hands.

DR Prasad performed a very complicated surgery and he did exceptional work. I flew ~4 hours to have him to the surgery because I heard he was the best.We is very thorough in explaining the procedure, recovery, as well as all possible complications.VERY HAPPY!

Before my surgery (parathyroid) my husband asked about the risk to my vocal cords and expressed that singing was a really important part of my life. Instead of reassuring us that he would do his best, he told us if we wanted no risk we should go see someone else. I fully understand there is always risk with surgery, but this was a very dismissive and harsh response. Lo and behold, I ended up with a fully paralyzed vocal cord that has negatively impacted my life in a huge way. Not a good experience at all and would never go back or recommend him.

My symptoms of pain of 5 on left side of abdomen indicated nothing extreme. Dr Prasad expressed that I was feeling just the ‘tip of the iceberg’. The complex hernia was ‘huge’. When he started to put in the mesh for support he expected to find scar tissue. However it took 2 hours to remove it. Wonderful surgeon. Very compassionate. Transfusion free surgery.

I highly recommend Dr Prasad.Dr Prasad and I discussed my condition which truly was borderline compared to other people I know who have had herniated navels. He listened to my concern about having surgery at this time and he agreed if I didn’t have any pain, discomfort or issue lifting or excercise then I could hold off on having any procedure. He made sure if any changes happened in my condition to contact him right away and he’d get me in and we could make a decision moving forward.Dr Prasad is excellent at listening and allows you to make the decision on any procedure suggested.

My surgeries are the worst case scenarios. His calming demeanor with consideration to every detail, the patience to guide me through scary recovery and the forethought to the pain after surgery is pacifying. His amazing team compliments his dedication to healing and the terror that comes with having these surgeries. His team and Dr Prasad are amazing!

Came for one hernia repair, came out with three hernias, eleven incisions instead of four and torn abdominal muscles.I laid in hospital in excruciating, heart stopping pain all night long while he slept peacefully in his bed.Had to go to Seattle to Swedish hospital to repair the damages he did.

He takes his time in your visits, listening and hearing everything on your mind, staying calm, and mapping out a plan, and to me, there's no better feeling than a doctor who genuinely cares and doesn't just rush through the appointments getting everyone in and out and not considering you, your background, or your home life-all factors that play in an important role of your diagnosis and what after surgery care will look like.
