From my personal experience, either Dr. Vuppali herself is somewhat dismissive, or her team does a poor job following up on calls and instructions she's provided. After being diagnosed with kidney stones, I reached out to Dr. Vuppali seeking advice on how to reduce the size of the stones, as well as preventative measures I could undertake while awaiting my next appointment. When I did finally receive a response, it came from her nursing assistant, Veronica, who relayed Dr. Vuppali's message. The message that "there is nothing she can do in the meantime, and I will speak with her at her next appointment" felt dismissive and rather curt. It was a frustratingly non-committal response, devoid of empathy or patient-centric care. I am sharing my experience in the hope that this feedback might bring about some change in how Dr. Vuppali and her team handle patient care and communication. But for anyone in need of a kidney specialist, I would sadly advise looking elsewhere.

The doctor was very knowledagable and was very interested in my well being. was very sincere.

Dr. Vuppali is very concerned about my issues and takes the time to address them. I never have to second guess her medical advice, or her plan of care.

During my visits, everything goes smoothly and on time with Dr. Vuppali. The visits usually involve a lot of attention in regards to my health. Dr. Vuppali goes into depth, and spends the appropriate amount of time explaining and answering vital questions. Not only does she take the time to review my care plan, she has also seen me in the hospital twice when I was admitted for kidney stones.
