Wish I Wouldve seen reviews first
I've had thyroid issues for a while and still unclear what's going on. I got referred to her expecting to be helped further but nope. I explained all my symptoms and issues and she prescribed me thyroid medicine and got bloodwork done. Past 4 times of bloodwork from my primary Dr. thyroid levels have been high; I know levels can change but her nurse calls me the very next day and wouldn't tell me my results but says they are normal. Here is the sketchy part she tells me if I had already got my thyroid medicine filled to go ahead and take it for 3 months to see what happens, but if I hadn't to not take it at all. Last time I will ever go to her.

Wow! The other reviewers are spot on!!!
Terrible. I wish I had seen these reviews previously! Dr Milhem needs to be reported to the state MD licensing board, and to insurance companies. My experiences over 3 years with Milhem has been the same as the previous reviewers! Non-action, medical gaslighting, possible malpractice issues..... There is much more to my story with Milhem but I've gone over characters typing it all out. I will never ever return to this MD. I will be sure to speak at length with my primary care MD about the problems I, and others, have had with Milhem so hopefully she will stop referring patients to Milhem.

She was giving to me after Dr Leera Patel left. I have a growing thyroid nodule and she acts as if it’s nothing I tell her I have trouble swallowing and voice problems and she wants me to see an ENT Doctor. I do not like her lack of interest you telling her all the things going on with you and she says that’s not your thyroid something else try’s to refer you to different doctors and etc

I was referred to Dr. Milhem because an ultra sound of my thyroid showed findings of a “hypoechoic solid nodule”. The radiologist suggested a further scan. I expected to go to Dr. Milhem and get referred to do further scanning. I have been in an unbelievable amount of pain that I expressed to Dr. Milhem. I am having countless symptoms that when you look up, all point towards need for further testing of a thyroid nodule. Dr. Milhem tried to tell me that the nodule is a cyst even though it clearly states on the ultra sound report that it is solid. She said that “the radiologist recommends further testing but I don’t think I am going to do it”. When I am physically in extreme pain. She made me feel like my symptoms weren’t valid and suggested that I may just be sick even though these symptoms have been going on for 2+ months AND I just got tested at urgent care for all infections which all came back negative. She pretty much told me she wouldn’t do anything, she was very unprofessional.

Undermined my symptoms and neglected ultra sound r – Jun 16, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Milhem?
I had a papillary thyroid cancer in 2017. I was treated and followed up with dr. Milhem. I expressed concerns about MyTSH levels and she dismissed them without explanation. My hair is not normal and when asked she abruptly stated, “ do you want hair or to have cancer?” This was inappropriate and rude. She then told me I needed aggressive treatment due to my 1.2 cm thyroid nodule that was removed was “ very large “ and “ much bigger than we normally see in thyroid cancers”. This was a LIE to scar
