Dr. Lyssa Ochoa, MD

Dr. Ochoa is beyond rude!!! I was referred back to her clinic after some results I received by PCP. She was pretty much refusing to see me saying she didn’t know what I was doing there. I have my results in my hand from STIC as to why I was referred back and she’s like I don’t read MRI’s I said well obviously they had already been read these are results. The worse attitude ever!! There’s a way to speak to the patients and deliver a message or explain what she thinks not be very unprofessional. At the I was nice enough to say thank you and she didn’t even reply or look at me. Will not be returning and will not recommend. Sadly it’s her own specialty practice so no one to report her to but leave her the bad reviews so people know of her.

Extremely knowledgeable in her field, trustworthy, empathetic & caring, great staff … would highly recommend to anyone …

Had appointment at 09:00 1-12-24, arrived 8:45 at office on 919 Locke, appointment papers in hand. 9:15 no one around, 09:30 still no one. A Methodist worker contacted someone in their chain and informed them I was there. Stated they would call me in a few minutes. Waited until 9:45 without contact so left. Still no contact or apology so conclude they could care less about your time or funds getting to their scheduled appointments. Would give them a zero if possible.

Dr Ochoa is a life saver. She is amazing and cares for her patients. She is non nonsense and tells you like it is. She is ALWAYS reachable and is always willing to speak to you any time of the day. We LOVE her.

Everyone was very friendly and the doctors were patient with me and cared if I was hurting.

My experience with both the staff and Dr Ochoa was extremely positive. They demonstrated care and a sense of urgency in meeting the needs of their patients. They are clearly committed to making a difference for their patients and the communities they are serving.

Dr. Ochoa is one of the, if not THE best vascular surgeons in town, she has superior knowledge and skills and uses them in the most ethical ways. Highly recommend.

My husband had a AAA five years ago and was bleeding out, Dr. Ochoa was on call that night, and he needed emergency surgery. If not for her he would not be here.

She has anger issues.

Dr. Ochoa and her staff provided excellent services when I really needed them. I was a first time patient and needed immediate attention to my medical condition. I was scheduled to fly out of town on a Sunday. I called her office on the Friday before my departure and her staff arranged their schedules to see me that day. This type of response hardly ever happens with first time patients. Never in a hurry, Dr. Ochoa took the time to explain my diagnosis even as time passed on a Friday afternoon and the office emptying of patients. I highly recommend Dr. Ochoa because she truly exemplifies the Hippocratic oath.

Dr Ochoa is a excellent Dr and surgeon. I’ve been a patient of hers for 5 years. She is serious when it comes to the health concerns of her patients and is on top of things. Very friendly and upbeat. If you want the best then you want Dr. Ochoa. She won’t let you down!!

Dr. Ochoa is an excellent and caring vascular surgeon. She is experienced and trained in the most up-to-date technology and can be a life saver. If you have a blood clot call her right away. Not later today. Now.
