Don’t waste your time
I left 3 messages in span of 2 weeks, not only on the phone line of the new patient coordinator, but also with an actual person. I never got a phone call back. They cannot be that busy where they can’t even have the courtesy to return a phone call. Don’t waste your time like I did. By the time I started calling somebody else. It was already a month gone.

My mom was diagnosed with liver cancer and the ER Gastrologist doctor recommended immediate treatment from Dr. Bui. A week passed and still no treatment plan from Dr. Bui's office, not to mention that you will never see or hear from Dr. Bui. If you care about yourself or your loved one GO TO SOMEONE ELSE!

Dr Bui has a very good Nurse Practioner
I have seen doctor Bui on previous ocassions and, as a Registered Nurse with 30 years of practice, I find her very competent and friendly. I find all the negative comments surprising. Some of them appear to be due to the fact that they don't understand what a Nurse Practioner is.

Praxis Visits
Saw Dr Bui for one minute on first visit. All office visits handled by Nurse-practitioner. CT-scan results according to nurse normal organs, lung improving. Diagnose-chemo. Opted for second opinion. Result by Stanford Doctor consortium, no chemo recommended after 5 month surgery and PET/CT scan no further treatment required. Stanford Medical experience superior to South Bay Health service.

My final straw with Dr. Bui after overdosing me in the hospital and not calling or visit after the incident was an in person visit turned to a phone visit she called and we spoke 3 minutes when she had to take another call from a physician. She was suppose to call me back, I’m in a care homeland we were discussing my meds that I will need. I waited all day and no returned call. I call before closing and was told they would send a message to her. I was fuming and sent my pcp an email and ccd Dr. Bui asking for a new oncologist. I missed a call about an hour after I sent the email that says she will try me back....it was an upbeat tone in her voice, no concern......and she neve4 called back. Not ev3n today. And no response to email. Also, I’ve had office visit and was stuck 2 dozen times for blood draw and staff couldn’t do it. And when I requested meds to be called into pharmacy, I was assured it would happen, it did not. VERY disappointed and floored to be treated this way

If you care about you or your love ones health, do not come here. She diagnosed my mother with stage 2 and never got her started on a treatment. We were always told she was unavailable or in a meeting and she would call back. She has no idea if she wanted to do chemo or surgery for my mothers treatment which delayed the process. We went for a second opinion and my mother is at least stage 3 and possibly stage 4. That’s how bad this lady is at her job. She severely downplayed CRUCIAL information that our second opinion said was the exact reason why this case was far more serious than originally described. She spent maybe 10 minutes speaking to us and didn’t explain anything vs the other doctor we’re going with spending an hour and showing us multiple websites and being extremely thorough. This is not something to play around with and Dr. Bui is unreliable. I hope this review helps save other people’s lives because she missed a huge diagnosis.

Dr. Bui did not show up for her appointment and sent her nurse instead. Nurse told me the doctor was in a meeting. All respect to nurses, I think they do a great job, but I waited for an opening in Dr. Bui's schedule and came to see her not her nurse.

Dr. Bui didn't show up for appointment while I was already there and sent the nurse instead. Nurse told me Dr. Bui was in a "meeting" and could not see me. All respect to nurses, I think they do an amazing job, but I waited for an opening in the doctor's schedule and came to see her, not the nurse. Nurses doing the doctors' jobs.... better be paid the same.

I was referred to see Dr. Bui a few years. The staff and Doctor are amazing. Very nice, lots of patience and professionalism which you do not get at every medical office or hospital. Sonia has helped me so much and I cannot thank her enough. I recommend over and over again.

I would never put my loved ones in her care. She is a manipulator, and only sees $dollar signs$. She showed up twice to see my father in a month. She is not reliable, nor trustworthy.

Dr.Bui is the best, concientious and reliable physician i have ever had the pleasure to see. She is an experienced oncologist who has a superb fund of knowledge and personable cheerful bedside manners. She is consistently thorough in her assessment of my everchanging condition at each visit. I was referred by my local oncologist when the two major academic medical centers had no more treatment options to offer me. Dr. Bui is a famous researcher and always has new treatment options for me.

Dr. Bui and her staff are the best. When I went in to see her I was very weak and doctors couldn't figure out how to treat me for my severe Anemia, she did some blood tests and got me on a treatment plan within days. And it worked! I feel better than I have felt in years. The infusion room was comfortable and clean. They made a manageable payment arrangement since my insurance (like most) didn't cover the whole treatment. I would recommend this office to anyone.
