Dr. Lynne Baker, DDS

Dr. Baker is the Only Oral Surgen in Topeka, Kansas who I would allow to pull my teeth. She is very caring, and a wonderful person. I highly reccomend her for your oral surgery needs.

This was my first experience with Dr. Baker. She was recommended by a friend. I just had a tooth pulled. If I ever need dental work done in the future, I definitely plan on calling Dr. Baker.

Dr. Baker is highly trained and just a really great dental surgeon. As soon as you meet her, she instills confidence that she knows exactly what she is doing. Over the years she has taken thee molars out for me without any pain whatsoever. She is truly a professional. She has also taken teeth out for my dental-phobic husband, and he loves her. We are both impressed by how quickly she works and how strong she is.

Knows what she's doing, explained what she was going to do every time (i've had 4 different appointments there) and after the procedure. Great personality too. Be forewarned, in 4 visits some were really quick (under an hour) and others I waited a long time (2 hours max) I would recommend Dr. Baker highly to any person, including children. You can pre-register on their website so you don't have to hurry through writing on forms.

I needed a tooth extracted. She jams the needle in without using a topical anesthetic first. I jerked. She didn’t stop. She gives me 2 more shots quickly without letting the others take effect. I cried out each time and was shaking and crying. My gum still hurt when pressed on when she came in to do the pulling. She gave me 2 more shots and I cried out both times. She pulled the tooth in 3 sections, each time I cried out. There was absolutely no concern for my level of pain and trauma.

My husband had a tooth pulled a few weeks ago. Beginning from the moment you walk in, you just get the feeling they are strictly there for the money only. Not only did Dr. Baker not talk to me or my husband after the surgery (he was put to sleep) which I was promised multiple times by her office staff. I was also shocked they didn't even call to check on him the next day after the surgery like all other doctor offices do. Even our vet practices this. I will NEVER use this practice again!!!!

Very competent, put me completely at ease, had a very good experience. Great personality too. Everything was explained well before and after the procedure. Office staff is friendly and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Baker highly to any age group, including children, and to people who may have anxiety. You will be in good hands with this doctor! In addition, the practice has an excellent website, and you can fill out forms and email securely.
