Way too rushed
Went in for basic eye exam my first in a long time. Technician does everything with little explanation of any of the exams . Dr came in for for very short time at the end . I asked a question about something and she Did finally look at my eye and told me I needed a biopsy of my eye for Basil cell at next visit and rushed out the door. Not sure I feel comfortable to come back for biopsy of my eye with so little time spent or explanation of the next visit.

Dr. Byerly did a cataract surgery on my left eye 3 months ago. I was pressured into a multifocal lens with astigmatism correction to get me out of glasses. I see a blurred haze in a diagonal pattern across the middle of my visual field and a starburst pattern with spirals around every light, especially LED lights and with night driving. It's horrible. She continued trying to talk me into having the other eye done immediately afterwards. I cannot see clearly out of my left eye. Why would I want to do that to myself in both eyes? I was told she could laser the eye right in the office. That was not true. She later said she doesn't have that in the office. I was not informed of the visual disturbances that lens I paid $4000 for in cash, that I would encounter. Dr. Byerly then gaslit me, blamed my eye problem on anxiety then refused to fix the eye. I've had to pay thousands more to have another Opthalmologist fix my eye. Do not go to this office even for a simple eye exam.

I was concerned about an eye condition that I was having. Dr. Byerly told me what I had, did not explain anything about it, made no contact with me, wrote something on a piece of paper and left toward the door before I could say a word. I called out a question about what she had prescribed and she answered me with hand on the doorknob and back to me. I'm sure that she's a competent doctor, but a dr should at least explain to a patient what is going on and not leave without even asking whether patient has any questions.

Way too rushed!!
I spend 1.5 hours in her office every December for testing due to a specific drug I am on for RA. Her technicians do all the testing and the doctor walks in a the end. I timed Dr Byerly and she literally spent 70 SECONDS talking with me!!! She never talks at all about the testing results, only says "everything is ok". Same deal every year. I had questions about cataracts and coatings on glasses. She barely looks at me, rushes me while I'm still asking a question to do her final check with the equipment and got her hand on the doorknob. Got 2 quick answers and before I blinked she was gone! Errrrrr!!!!! Zero bed side manner. At least pretend to listen, hang around for 5 minutes, and look me in the eye. I spent 36 years in sales management for a Fortune 500 company. I would never hire her to represent my company!!! I'm done.

Thorough exam
Recent annual exam and soon to have measurements made for upcoming cataract surgery. The technicians answered my questions and provided a full array of tests. Dr. Byerly then met with me and provided another thorough exam. She answered my questions and will soon proceed with my first cataract removal procedure. I'm pleased with the care and have recently heard some feedback from another patient who states her vision (since cataract surgery) has improved dramatically.

An appointment was made to see Dr. Byerly for watery eyes. I had full eye exam. When she came into room, it w2as less than a minute and she was walking out the door. I had to stop her and say what about my watery eyes, this is the reason I can in. She gave me some drops and that was it. About a 45 second appointment. Typical doctor in Naples, just a number and see how quick they can get you in and out. I would not recommend her to anyone

Technician ran all test, Dr Byerly never once looked at my eyes, or reviewed what technician did. Wrote out prescription for glasses and contacts. Resulting in first pair of contacts being wrong, second pair still not correct. Was told additional $200 needed for Dr Byerly to see me again, to get the correct prescription!
