Dr. Lyle Victor, MD

Well past his prime. Go to someone else, anyone else.

His experience is vast and makes analysis based on sleep studies. I have been a patient of Dr. Victors since 2006. His advise is based on his vast expertise in sleep therapy. Some patients do not like his direct approach, but it is the most effective.

He was extremely rude and hurtful. He said I should lose 20 lbs. I agreed and I came back 8 weeks later which also covered the thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and had lost almost 15 lbs. he didn't even acknowledge it but said why don’t you just try eating one sandwich per day? That’s all you need. He was just awfully insulting. My husband then came in the exam room and the dr. said I can’t believe that’s your husband! He looks like a movie star. I can’t believe you’re married to him. That was my last appointment. The other bad part was that He had no one to fill in for him when he was off. I had to wait 2 weeks to get help for COPD Exacerbation. I don’t recommend him.

I had been seeing Dr. Victor for sleep apnea for over 2 years. Although initially pleasant, he became irritated when my experience with a c-pap machine resulted in me being allergic to the silicon mask/nasal pillows. Despite many sprays, medications and ointments, the allergic reaction continued and Dr. Victor became less and less easy to talk with. Two weeks ago, I saw another pulmonologist who is trying other medications and is suggesting that my sleep apnea issue is due to a jaw issue. On my last visit with Dr. Victor, he was rude and was not interested in listening to me. He accused me of being 'fat' (which I am not), and the fact that my post-menopausal body is causing me problems. His suggestion is that I 'starve' myself. I am in good shape, work out 4 days a week, and am not 'fat'. Dr. Victor, however, is rude and insulting.

Worst Doctor I have ever encountered. He not only does not answer your questions, he won’t even look you in the eye. His practice is run on Quantity and not quality. If I could have given him Zero stars I would have. I would not Recommend this Doctor to anyone for any reason.

Dr. Victor is great. The only reason I would give a low mark for ease of scheduling is because he only keeps office hours one day a week at the location nearest me. He is in very high demand!

Dr. Victor is very experienced in Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine and able to diagnose and prescribe proper health care for the above medical problems. The office staff is excellent and the office functions quite efficiently.

Dr Victor was really good with me. He comes off as having a lot of experience and I liked him soon as I met him, he has that doctor personality where you feel like you known him for some time and is just good at what he does. This cpap I got from him, has made my life so much better, I actually sleep all night now, I did not realize how bad I was, its definitely made my life much better, I am thankful for his time and staff to go over the results with me and answer all my questions.

I love Dr. Victor. I wish he was still doing pulmonology . I see him for sleep disorder.Dr. Victor is funny and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr. Victor .

I started seeing Doctor Victor about 7 months ago, to get new CPAP equipment, and I am extremely happy with the treatment I have received from him and his staff, the updated equipment has been a life changer. The new machine, heated tube and dream ware mask are so comfortable and work so well, I couldn't be any happier!! Dr. Victor has given me excellent advice for my other sleep issues. I would highly recommend him to anybody that has sleep apnea or any other sleep issues! He is a great Doctor
